    Pretty book. I'm leaning to 8.5 very nice around the staples and spine. Good colors too.

    I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that you might get 5.5 with a good clean and press.

    With that crease along with the amount of edgewear I would be very surprised if it graded higher.

    I would estimate 5.0. Its a decent copy except for the spine and Subscription crease. I believe CGC is hard on subscription creases.

    Dirt on back cover, tiny chip on top edge back cover, fold (or mark?) on back lower corner. book is off center, tanning on back. As is, it is 7.5. A clean and press should get you to at least 8.0

    The highest grade I can give from an image is 9.6. I think to give anything a 9.8 it would need to be placed under a magnifying glass.

    Whoever owned it last gave it an 8 out of five!!!! I would call it a 5.0 as well. A clean and press would bring up to 5.5

    I would be too afraid to press the book, it might tear the rest of the back off. The press wouldn't help the grade any way. I agree with both grades posted it could go either way.

    I'm not sure how much color is missing or if some of it is just printing issues. That top corner is pretty bad. I'll have to go checkout another copy to compare it. It could grade lower than 9.4

    I'm not sure why you asked if it would "knock it down" from 9.8? Is that what it was sold as, or was it pre-graded 9.8? In any case the book is not 9.8 maybe 9.4 at best.

    I guess I should update. My last two orders arrived a couple of weeks ago. I don't know if he happened to see my post or if it is just coincidence, but still a customer shouldn't wait weeks after the books arrive in the shops to get the books they preorder. He either needs to hire more help or close his business.

    It shouldn't have any problem getting 9.0 with a press. I wouldn't be surprised if it grades higher.

    I agree that an 8.0 sounds reasonable. If they want to give it a hit for the shadowing on the back it might grade 7.5

    Here is the list of books I am waiting for. The phone number on their site is always busy and I see they have an F rating with the BBB. I'll probably never see these books or my money again, I would not suggest anyone buy from them.
