  1. For me there is, and that point is too rapidly approaching.
  2. I'm fine with waiting (until I pass ) as I need more comic books like I need a cousin Eddie.
  3. I have been looking high and low for other DC 100 pagers, as well as 52 pagers, with double or more covers for about 25 years and, unfortunately, this is the only one I have been able to find. Apparently, I have been looking in the wrong places. Edit: They have a World's Finest listed on eBay, for example, but I will specify that I'm looking for 9.4, preferably 9.6, or higher grade raw or slabbed that is, in my view, reasonably priced.
  4. I'll sign any comic book if someone pays me at least $100 to do so.
  5. I'm not certain if I previously posted the following comic book in this thread. Oh, what the heck.
  6. "It's like a $50 book on eBay, this seems odd... " Indeed; $50 signature free on a good day.
  7. The "only" prices that keep climbing are for the "big" comic books I want to purchase.
  8. Amazing, great, fantastic, unbelievable, etc., do not come close to describing Mr. Jaffee's work and the joy I receive from it.
  9. I once received CGC 9.8 grade notes. If I correctly recall, they read "this book sucks."
  10. I have a bunch of modern 9.8 that are worth, for example, -$25. However, I'm holding out until I i can sell them for $1. Joking aside, if I am correctly reading your post, I will argue that presently most graded/slabbed moderns, especially in 9.2, are pretty much worthless and will very likely remain so. (Still, never say never.) Granted, there are also many 9.8 that are, perhaps, worth a few more dollars than the cost of slabbing. However, add the associated costs and they also often result in a loss. However, a search of ebay does show that some folks (I'll write, collectors) pay above the "going rate" for some of these 9.8 comic books and, thus, some sellers makes a few bucks. Please correct me as necessary as you may have more knowledge than I in this area.
  11. Mani Facturing is a well know comic book collector who, apparently, previously owned the comic book in question.
  12. I am very eager to submit my next batch of comic books and magazines, hopefully sometime this month or May, and have them returned to me.
  13. No, I was joking (recently, my jokes land as flat as flat can be), I grade the standard-fare.
  14. Every comic book and magazine I have graded. However, the "invisible" comic book comes close since I will not sucker anyone into purchasing my books.
  15. My joke fell flatter than a halibut . I meant the grading is going "fantastic"??? My sincere apologies.
  16. I have not visited the WWC site, if its the Ritter I'm thinking about, in a long while due to too much $$$ and was unaware about its CPR "game." Edit: I just visited WWC. Four pages of the Promise (You Nothing) Collection. Yowza!
