  1. Nice! What we need is a Two-Faced Darkseid.
  2. You are very welcome and, hopefully, your submission will, in fact, rapidly move through the process, perhaps skipping some status updates, and be Finalized / Image / Shipped before long.
  3. It may be, as CGC used to note, if I recall correctly, on its CGC Services & Fees web page that your submission will rapidly move from one status to another although it lingers at one for some time. Granted, I have not noted if this is still the case, especially since I am not currently able to find that statement on the CGC site.
  4. The seller may be French, as in Dearborn's River Rouge. I jest.
  5. CGC mailed a shipment to me via US Postal Service Certified Mail on December 3, 2020, eights days ago as of today, December 11. On December 8 it departed the USPS sorting facility for my local US Post Office. I expect delivery on Monday, December 14 as shipments from CGC have, I believe, always taken 10 days to reach me, not counting Sunday, December 13 in this instant.
  6. The 18 comic book MSL submission still marked as "Received" as of today, Saturday, November 28, 2020. "Scheduled for Grading" on Monday, November 30, 2020. A 35 comic book MSL submission mailed to CGC on Friday, November 27, 2020. Arrived at CGC on Monday, November 30, 2020. Marked "Received" by CGC on _______.(?) The 35 comic book MSL submission marked as "Received" today, Thursday, December 10, 2020.
  7. My MSL submission also delivered on November 30 is still waiting its turn to be received by CGC.
  8. In my area, USPS is far superior to UPS and FEDEX, including that with the latter two your package may be delivered to the incorrect address.
  9. Well, my 35 comic book MSL submission that arrived at CGC on November 30, 2020, may be returned to me freshly graded in January 2021. Happy New Year!
  10. Like many others, I purchased the 1990, etc., series Marvel Trading Cards and would enjoy submitting some for grading to CGC.

The 18 comic book MSL submission still marked as "Received" as of today, Saturday, November 28, 2020. "Scheduled for Grading" on Monday, November 30, 2020; "G / QC" on Wednesday, December 2, 2020. The comic books are on their way home ("F / I / S"; not "Imaged") as of Thursday, December 3, 2020.
  12. The 18 comic books were shipped (F / I / S) yesterday, December 3, 2020. A very rapid G / QC. Thank you CGC. Lest I forget, surprisingly, no comic books were graded 9.9 or 10. ... ... ... I jest as I have never received a 9.9 or 10 on a "mere standard" comic book.
  13. Great! Hopefully, G /QC will be "short and sweet." Sweet as in 9.8 (heck, 9.9; double heck, 10).
  14. Thank you. Yet, as I wrote, I'll see how long the G / QC takes as in years past it occasionally took a relatively long time.
  15. Yes, but, perhaps, the G / QC will be a relatively long wait.

  17. Yes; I also perform my own modern age and otherwise "pre-screening."

  19. Like many, my interest in reading, collecting, and having CGC grade some of my comic books ebbs and flows. Presently, I am again enjoying purchasing a few new comic books and sending those whose covers I like to CGC for grading. I also submit to CGC for grading, on occasion, some of my original owner and back issue purchased comic books from the mid-1980s to the mid-1990s as the great bulk of my original owner and back issue purchases from the gold to copper ages are stored in another state and I will very likely not fully delve into those boxes again until my retirement. I only ever keep the comic books I have had graded as I have yet to ever sell a single one/comic book, displaying them as it strikes me. As I noted, my interest in comic books, and, for that matter, my other hobbies, rises and falls as is, arguably, to be expected. Still, thus far, I always return to them sooner rather than later. Perhaps the OP will at some point again find his "comic book interest" peaking.

  21. I always ask CGC to place my comic books in E. Gerber Mylites4 and then in E. Gerber Archives prior to slabbing. CGC ignores me.
  22. Yes, new comic books are, generally, too expensive. Still, I continue to purchase a few of them every week as I hope to one day corner a part of the "market" with all my comic books when the world, or at least the USA, runs out of toilet paper.
  23. That is surprising, at least to me, as I occasionally order from Legacy Comics and the store promptly ships my orders. Granted, a great many of the Spawn issues that I receive from Legacy, unfortunately, always have the spine ticks, frequently color breaking, numerous, and relatively large, that posters on the Spawn thread in the modern section note for many Spawn issues.
