  1. Hello, @wmorgan thanks for reaching out! We are so sorry for the confusion with your submission. I am showing that we have both our phone team and our email team working to resolve the issue currently and they should be getting back to you shortly. We do appreciate your patience and understanding. Thank you.

  2. Hello! Books are evaluated on a case-by-base bases and we will never force a book into a holder in case it may damage the books. Unfortunately, the notes that I have read are the same as what has been provided to you, and it was too large to fit in our slabs at this time. I apologize for the inconvenience this may cause. Thank you.

  3. Hello!

If this needs to be updated, our Graders will do it when it hits the grading stage of the certification process. They will verify the books and ensure that they are labeled correctly for you. Thank you for reaching out.

  4. Hello!

This is an excellent question and a little hard to answer. Yes, we do only authenticate cards at times; however, it is up to the Grader's discretion. Most cards receive the numeric grade unless their condition is poor, or it is a very old card. There is no way to request an Authentic Only grade at this time as it is up to the Graders when they will use this designation.

  5. Hello, we are so sorry that you received some scratched slabs. I see this is within the two-week time limit to report damages so we would be more than happy to correct these for you free of charge. Please complete a new submission form and select the Mechanical Error option when prompted. Continue to follow the directions given on the submission form and it will provide you with a pre-paid shipping label. Please let us know if you have any additional questions. Thank you.

  6. Unfortunately, this would be decided on a case-by-case basis, and we cannot give you the blanket response that you are looking for. We would need documentation for the books to be reviewed before determining if they would qualify for a Pedigree label or not.

  7. Hello @WDBill Yes, you may still use the membership credits towards all fees; however, the online form and account cannot show the credits at this time. Any credits will be automatically applied once the submission has been billed. Submissions are not billed until they are received at our facility. Thank you.

  8. Hello! We are happy to hear that you will be submitting with us! The fees are based on the grading tiers selected for the books. Each tier is based on the year of the books and the estimated declared value of the books. Modern books are considered 1975-present and must be valued under $400. Anything valued over $400 would need to go under a higher tier.

The value we ask you for is an insurance value, a number you would feel comfortable with in terms of a replacement value if your book was lost or damaged while with us. We do encourage you to be conservative as we do not reimburse you if you over-value your book. In the event that your book was grossly under-valued, we would contact you to bump the book to a higher grading tier and you would just pay the difference in the grading fees at that time

  9. Hello! We do recommend normally that you contact us via email at submissions@cgccomics.com but this can take several days to get a response. If you are in need to speak to someone immediately, please call 877-662-6642.

  10. Hello! They would qualify for our Reholder service, not the Crossover service. This means that we would not be regraded and would just be reholdered into the new label and the grade would remain the same. If you would like the cards regraded, then they would be graded as raw cards. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.
