  2. Regarding the hologram covering the custom label for the McFarlane SS books: CGC got on this immediately. We have requested new labels be printed and rushed. We are hoping to have labels within a week, although Thanksgiving may affect this. All in-house books that have not been sent out are being held for the new labels. If a customer already received a book with the hologram covering the label, the best course of action is to reach out to the Sig Team and they will happily send Mechanical Error instructions so this can be fixed. Signatureseries@cgccomics.com This issue is only happening on the McFarlane scroll label, the Spawn label is good to go.

  4. I have notified the QC manager and someone else about this. I made the trip to CGC yesterday, and spoke for about half of the duration of the QC meeting. Had I known about this problem, I would have certainly brought it up then.
  5. Hello You would need to fill out a submission form and Select Mechanical error. A prepaid shipping label will automatically be sent to you. Be sure to specify why you are returning this to be fixed. Also, write ME in large letters in multiple spots on the outside of the box. We will fix this and send it back to you. Mike

  10. The declared value of the book was $300 The buyback offer was $500. This will not be credit. We will be paying you this by check I believe. Maybe CC. We are just waiting for you to reply to the e-mail That is $200 more than what is required. Also, all fees will be reversed. We are sorry that this happened to your book. The declared value is used to insure a collectible while it is at CGC’s facility. In addition, in the extremely rare event that a collectible is lost or damaged while at CGC’s facility, the submitter will be compensated based on the collectible’s current Fair Market Value (as defined below) in the condition in which it was received by CGC; provided that in no event will the compensation exceed the declared value listed by the submitter on the CGC Submission Form. It is therefore very important that the declared value listed by the submitter represent the collectible’s current fair market value.

Choosing ones that show all the relevant defects on the cover so they show up in scans. I also try to choose cool books and a good mix of grades. Also, our high value team grades them and I finalize them."

  13. This is true for US residents only. International customers have to contact customer service to get a return shipping label.
