Pretty sure it was confirmed by someone who knew behind the scenes. I'm annoyed that I can't figure out exactly where that happened. I do remember reading it in surprise.

Could anyone even imagine what would happen if Danny ever really got sent up the river, and admitted that he was the seller of these books? Depends. If the 'Tec is a blue holder 6.5 as suggested, I imagine there would be some interesting debate.... I seriously doubt that considering how much intense scrutiny this book went under and CGC had to be very aware of all the questions surrounding this book. It's not every day a Tec 27 comes into their building for grading. If it got a blue label, I'm pretty sure they were extra careful to check this one over. It was shown somewhere... grr.

I believe somebody came up with a scan of the new Tec 27 and Todd was credited as the owner. It was in that infamously long thread here somewhere near the end of its lifespan. I do remember seeing it.

Nope. All he ever offered was conjecture, and old man ranting conjecture at that. He was always telling us to wait for this proof that he never produced and instead tried to make Todd look bad in the process. In all likelihood, he's been trying to save face from belligerently passing on a trove of treasure books since. The Tec 27 in question graded out untrimmed. After a while of this, he was permanently bounced from here. He probably has delusions of a conspiracy at CGC by now.

I may be considering myself lucky that he made good on my transaction in December. I know he was on the probation list before, but he made amends to get off it last fall. He seemed to be on the up and up from that point on.

I rarely do this in a SALES THREAD, which is what we're talking about. Gabbing in forum sections like General or the other areas that are designed for CONVERSATION is expected, as no one is trying to create a environment for financial transactions and no one is waiting for new books to be posted. But obviously, the difference eludes you right? I JUST SAW you do this in Nik's very own SALES thread this past week. Hypocrite. What the F does it matter if they are "active"? Nik was still selling in the thread and did post new books after your chatter about snowblowers and the like. If you want, there are people who can likely chime in with time stamps of when your posts were verses his new offerings. You're in the same crowd you're trying to villify! Anybody coming to a thread like that is still going to complain about having to scroll past your posts to "get to the good stuff". The shoe fits. You're still a hypocrite.

Why don't you just skip ahead to the posts that contain the images of the books? It's not the skipping ahead part that bugs me, it's seeing a bunch of "new messages" in a (supposed) sales thread, then clicking only to find a bunch of nutzos posting graemlins and various insults back and forth. What a waste of time. Sometimes your posts or threads are a big waste of time, too, but do I complain about it? No, I scroll past. I think you can learn how to do this function as well in a silent and polite manner.

... why didn't it revert back to the old color? Because I would rather speak my mind and not represent CGC while doing so. I could have kept my "color", but then I would not be able to speak freely. I would never want to tarnish CGC's image in any way, love those people (thumbs u , but having my name different than others means that some people will take what I say as CGC's opinion or that they condone everything I say and that is not what should happen. In other words, you are on Double Secret Probation now?
