  1. One of my top 10 favorite covers is Fight Comics 32. I had heard through a boardie that the interior stories were really good. I couldn't find it online to read, some issues just aren't there. I asked and the friend took pictures of each page of his issue and sent to me. He was right, interior was great. Oddly enough, a few weeks later I was given the opportunity to purchase the Mile High Church copy of Fight 32 CGC 9.0. I bought it and the fact that I don't think I will ever crack it made we want to see the interior even more...... so I bought a photocopy to hold. Something about holding it and being able to see both left and right pages at once. Also, last year I went on a plane trip since then and guess what I took with me to read.... not the Church copy!! The photocopy fit great in my back pack and so what if it happened to get a bent corner (which it did not, I kept it bagged and boarded). Good , fun, inexpensive, and worth while purchase in my opinion.
  2. Had the pics all ready and too large, going to Photobucket
  3. Here is a Valentines Day treat for all the Z fans, a complete 7 page story from Rangers 22 drawn/attributed to Zolnerowich. Enjoy
  4. You have a great eye, those colors ARE great.
  5. The main character Hercules quickly reminded me of this cover. Same face style and hair on the "hero" of this cover.
  6. Wow, thanks for sharing the story. Great fun reading it. You can tell it is Zolnerowich just from looking at the splash page character Hercules. Fun to see his drawing of panels instead of a cover. Great stuff, would love to see more interior art.
  7. This is one of my favorite Zolnerowich covers. A very difficult book to locate and I never get tired of looking at it. I do own this book. One bonus to this issue is that when most back covers are pedestrian, this one is filled with actions d bright colors.
  8. This has to be the coolest thing I have seen in a long time. Very nice !!
  9. Oh happy day it is. Excited about the boards being back. I am going to try and upload a scan of Jungle 21, a great Gem from Z. I own this book. He had a great imagination to create such interesting monsters for covers. I also like the depth perception of this cover too. Also another issue where he signed Zole Rowich in two layers written within art of the tree root.
  10. I always enjoy seeing a #16. I call it sneaky difficult to find in that you think this is an easier issue to find because you do see it for sale from time to time, but I find that it is the same 3-4 copies that are for sale and not an abundance of the issue. Your 16 is super nice Flex. I really like the green back ground. This is the first and only cover showing "Mars, God of war." Mars, God of War storyline details the adventures of the ancient Roman God. Each story showed him causing violent mischief on other planets. The interior stories were credited to writer Ross Gallen, and all drawn by Doolin (no Zolnerowich). The embodiment of evil, the spirit of Mars would "single out a man or woman who had evil in them," possess them, and run rampant until "the end of each story [when] good always triumphed." The first appearance of Mars God of War was in Jumbo 31 (Zolnerowich cover starring Sheena) and then subsequent stories were all in Planet comics ineach and every issue starting in Planet 15 and went on until Planet 35 when he was defeated by a new storyline Mysta of the moon (One of my favorite internal stories for crossing over these two FH all-stars, a creative storyline, and some really nice art).
  11. I think you are right , this one is tough to find. So much going on in the cover. It would have made me spend my dime in the 1940's. I think that Fight 15 and 16 are tough and seldom seen.
  12. Nice interior scans. You can tell it is his style and his art. Did he sign any of these within the art? I looked , but did not see.
  13. Beautiful Book. This is a perfect example of Zolnerowich cover style. A lot of details and implied action as well as some type of depth perception (the wall in the background and the prisoner).
