  1. My newest planet. 8.5 is where it resides now. This exact book was a 9.0(pictured), wonder what happened. Either way a great looking Planet 32 with bright cover colors. Looks just as bright in hand too.
  2. I am sure that 'liberation' felt will be a seed for perseverance, hope, and bravery in all of their futures.
  3. Nice book, very tough in grade. Rarely see this issue above 6.0.
  4. That is nice , what other gems did you get that you haven't posted yet ?
  5. That is a beautiful book Plod or no Plod. Comedy's are tougher to find and especially as nice as this one .
  6. Pretty book. Octopus ? is really cool. Did Zolnerowich just do the cover or did he do some interior art on this issue ?
  7. It is not "priceless", the book can be moved to another home. Jack, how about a straight up trade, my Fight 32 Church copy for your Planet 15 Cage copy
  8. If a 7.0 brought $2,145 I wonder what this Church copy would bring ? ?
  9. Zolnerowich cover of the day: Always reminded me of "King Kong".
  10. Beauty, you beat me on that one. A great Zolnerowich cover and 1st Mars god of war a Planet Comics longtime story line. This issue should have been on the recent HA top 10 rarest fiction house.
  11. yes he owns that one too. That splash page will be chased by me for sure.
  12. Congratulations. FYI, Jon Berk owns page 5 from this story and it might be for sale in the May CC auction. They sure would look nice framed together...
  13. I was in on that auction too. I only own 1 piece of OA so it really is not in "my wheel house", but Planets are always in my wheel house and Lost World is my favorite storyline in the run. That being said, I went stronger than you on it, but fell short by 3-4 bids. one thing that made me try harder to pick this up is the "practice sketches" she did in the lower left underneath all the panels and a note that says"let little draw hydrator". Wondered if that was her hinting to editor or an editors suggestion to someone else.
  14. BB-Gun got me to thinking about these covers one thing I have always been "amused" with concerning Planet interiors and some covers are the ideas of what the future should look like as seen in their futuristic designs. Some of those futuristic designs leave me scratching my head. This cover is the perfect example. Assuming that space travel and all the advancements this has given mankind, but we still have a foot shaped "gas pedal" on the floor to make the space ship go ?
  15. I can see the association. Did not know that Schomburg existed. Thanks for sharing.
  16. Love the 6, one of my favorites from the run. Also, have always liked the cool depth perception going on with cover of 7. Both of those are super nice.
  17. Finally got my picture of 2 to load. Still muddling through the new boards. I enjoyed the 2-5 run posted. All are difficult and titled "Rangers of Freedom" until simply going with Rangers comics starting with issue #8
  18. Here is the front as promised. It is a tough book.
  19. Here is the Back of my Rangers 2 On my phone now, will post a picture of front later tonight. This one now resides in a CGC 6.0 holder White Pages. Highest graded. I read the list from HA and snickered. Yes early Jumbos are tough, but several other FH books that were left off. The list basically says 8 issues of Jumbo are in the top 10 rarities for the publisher ....Nah I don't buy it.
  20. Earlier in the thread I showed Zolnerowich first Jungle cover. Here is his first Planet Comics cover. I do own this book. I really like the black and bright ice blue background which seems to make every detail stand out. I also like the different depth perception qualities from the hero up front, a girl detained by bad guy alien farther back on the bottom left, the Queen higher up spouting orders and she is deeper in the foreground, and the ice mountain looming in the distance. Lots of detail and love his composition of all the action.
