  1. 185-200 was a considerable improvement after reverting back to the original logo. Cover art was more traditional too. Shane, did you keep any Spawn slabs or was everything unloaded?
  2. Does anyone think PL #13 might be the only PL cover that's indisputably Baker?
  3. Awesome story. He most likely paid 3k all said and done. Looks rather nice for a 4.5
  4. Yours is somewhat on par for its time. What blows my mind is as late as 2014 prices were nowhere near what they are now. The "best" most recent price I can find is a 3.0 in 2019 for $4320. This past April, a 3.0 sold for almost 17k. Absolutely insane spike.
  5. How/when did you part ways with it?
  6. All very valid. I hadn't considered SOTI. But I will say the Baker boom certainly didn't hurt its value! How much were Phantom Ladies worth in the 90s?
  7. One of the rarest Bakers? The only other graded copy (6.5) sold for $567 in 2006.
  8. All good! I'm well aware it's pretty fruitless at this point, but still an interesting topic to dissect.
  9. It's not so much that. Just irks me Baker's name is (still) misattributed to something he didn't draw, using his name to jack up the worth even more. Good discussion/breakdown revolving around it here
  10. I'm in agreement (mostly), but Baker's art for The Hawk still possesses his succinct cover design. Love the decorative flourishes in the background of this one.
  11. I came across these as well. Some look cool with the SS label matching the cover. Definitely peculiar and overpriced though.
  12. This cover is badass and beautiful at the same time.
  13. Is this common at all? White pages on a low grade GA book. Looks solid for a 2.5
  14. I think this qualifies. Classic cover nonetheless.
  15. Interesting! Well before my time here. Do you know if the TR40/CL25 went on to be graded?
