#14 was my first GA/pre-code comic, so maybe I'm a little biased towards them. But I agree their covers are underappreciated. #13 is hands down one of my favorite covers ever. Was stoked to find a 7.5 copy.

Hadn't really noticed. Personally, I always enjoyed covers by Whitney and Bald on ACG. Definitely some memorable ones.

Bums me out I wasn't around for your old sales threads. Missed out on some nice gems.

You won those really cheap. Surprised more weren't interested. I have a 5.5 of #14, great cover.

That's what they're most known for. People say it's because he doesn't actually want to sell his comics so he keeps them overpriced. It's more like a museum.

Secret Wars 8 always baffled me. Almost 30k graded copies, it's not rare whatsoever but always plastered on social media. -
I was close saying it looked on par with the 8.0 copy. Second highest graded is still monumental.

Out of my wheelhouse but good luck. Stunning book. How long have you had it?

Nice one, I thoroughly enjoy Doolin covers. Guy was a workhorse for Fiction House. -

I have no knowledge whatsoever about this book. What made the price skyrocket in 8 years? -
Nice. What you paid is roughly in line with the other Bakers you got back then. But on Heritage in 2006, I didn't think the market existed for a Baker romance comic to net $1400. Figured at that time the only book tied to his name fetching hefty prices was PL 17, mainly due to its association with SOTI. I stand corrected. Some other noteworthy older sales:

It is lovely. I found your collection accidentally on MySlabbedComics while looking for Baker stuff via image search.

Don't think I've ever seen a rack like that by Baker.
