At least it didn't feature Gabe putting a German soldier out of commission by playing the bugle.
My introduction to Sgt. Fury did, and it soured me on the title. When I bought (and read) a Sgt. Fury #1, I was surprised how good it was.

Enjoying the King Club, O. Eric?
Nice stuff. I didn’t know about the Prince Valiant; is it new art or Foster reprints, or what?

I have given up hope of ever seeing an FF movie that measures up to my fondness for the team.
The Incredibles is as close as I think we'll ever get.

I looked hard at some squarebound westerns recently. I had never seen some of them; very tempting.

Yes!
I read it first. It’s an amazing combination of cover and interior. I remembered the Kirby story, but had forgotten about Ditko’s. Good stuff.

Wonderful!
Recently, someone posted a group shot of the x overs (Drac, Frankie, and WWBN), and I had to get my Ploog on.
I’m easily influenced. -

I was rooting the 49ers.
I despise soft zone coverage.

There’s almost always something that bothers me in a Frazetta cover. I think it’s because I hold him to such a high standard. FF 214 was my hands-down answer until I learned how heavily influenced it is by Wally Wood. I think it’s still my favorite comic cover of his, though.

I know I saw the graphite edition, but I l’ll have to go through my stuff.
I forget what I got.
I have a full run, plus the two grandson issues, but no graphite. I found a full set of the sister title, Silver Star (Darius Drumm!).
I also discovered that my Destroyer Duck #1 is gone. I love replacing former quarter box books at “it’s a key now” prices.
