  1. A teenager ripped me off in my very first trade ever. He got my $10 Howard The Duck #1, I got a 50 cent Fantastic Four 90, my first ever SA comic. Very happy about it then, happy now. Thanks, Rob! From what I hear, 90 is tough in super high grade.
  2. Last 12 center! Your FF collection must continue thru the end of Kirby’s run. No stopping at 88.
  3. Fantastic Four 86 is known as the “mute testimony” issue in my circle. Doom surveys the destruction wrought by his doombots and says “mute testimony to my awesome genius”. It’s our favorite line of his.
  4. People hate detached covers and CFs more these days. Seems weird to me, this being the Slab Era. I miss my Crime Patrol 15, but I’m content. For now.
  5. Here’s the deal; buy the two Annie Fanny trades, and you can have this for an additional $55. That’s $105 for everything.
  6. There was a resto WAC 10 1 point something on eBay for $600; Same book?
  7. Prisoner influenced Doom story. Sinnott’s ink on the 84 cover are just stunning. I’d love to see the OA!
  8. PayPal preferred but not required, shipping $6 contiguous US. Returns are ok, no bad listers. Offering both volumes of the collected Little Annie Fanny. Great satirical window into the 60s, 70s and 80s. $50 for the set!!
  9. Ok! No more teasing. You’ve all been waiting to see the Big Dog; wait no more. Ladies and gentlemen, nerds and nerdettes, I give you... Tomazooma!
  10. My oldest slabbed comic. It also may hold the distinction of being the single least desirable Gaines File Copy. 1946.
  11. I think I owe 4 today, and then back to two-a-days. Fantastic Four 76 is special to me. Before I had a comic collection, I had a friend who had a great big box of old comics. They were mostly a year or two old, but they seemed ancient and precious to me (20 cent covers!). The oldest FF in there was 76, and I read it every time I was over. My first comic purchase on the boards, #77, courtesy of trmoore54! From 78
  12. We both know what you need to pay to get one of these...
  13. Come for the disembodied arm, stay for the “stomach upset?” sign. Stay long enough to notice the liquor ad, with a guy face down on the bar!
  14. Always loved this cover; we’ll see if the innards are as fun.
  15. Sorry about the carpy pictures. There’s no light here at the moment. In a string of “good enough” comics, my 72 may not be good enough. My 74 is nice, tho!
  16. Is that what the current truth is? Used to be you could make one in a lab. There were several: Beyonder/Molecule Man, Shaper Of Worlds... the first mention was from the laboratories of Advanced Idea Mechanics.
  17. Hallowed ground. I’d like to see any of them!
  18. Not really obscure, but it’s Veterans Day.
  19. Looks kind of like a young Robert Mitchum. 🇺🇸 Here’s the soldier at Soldier Field!
