  1. Thank you! I’ll give partial credit to Kirby for their appeal!
  2. Post em! I have everything except the current series. I’ve been posting my SA run. Stay tuned! I have stated (like many) that the great run of Fantastic Four started with #44. I’ve changed my mind. I think it started with the continuing stories in 35. The greatness that is FF 39 and 40 supports that idea.
  3. I do. I don't buy the current series, tho. I suspect many others do, as well. As far as just the silver age issues go, Straw-Man has everything in 9.0 or better! (go back a few pages of this thread). I know there are many other complete SA collections here. Sweet Lou 14?
  4. When, Billy? When are you going to get serious about this hobby?
  5. Continuing stories began in issue 35, making the Lee/Kirby playground a lot bigger. It’s gonna get good! this 36 looks a lot better in its Mylar.
  6. Just these and nae more? Seriously, you have good taste! The early Subby issues were always great.
  7. The spine tiks keep it down, but otherwise it's pretty good! This is kind of my range; pretty but not untouchable.
  8. Only Kirby could have pulled off Attuma’s rock bunny hat!
  9. Cut her some slack, people. She just woke up. Lord knows the Egyptians weren't shy about make-up.
  10. "HIS attack." Getting mistaken for a dude all the time is what set her off in the first place.
  11. I was wondering why so many people were in that small upper room. I feel sorriest for the lone female.
  12. Good afternoon to you. While I'm glad you enjoyed your Shagg, I can't agree it was the best. A bit too violent, and FAR too many people involved.
  13. Thanks, I tried...sometimes. I do love white white-covered comics. Truth is, I wasn’t paying strict attention to condition when I assembled my run, and took what came. I’ve upgraded many, but lots of these are my first copies-back from a time when I was actively avoiding high grade comics!
  14. Amazing Spider-Man annual #1 is a cornucopia of cool. Ditko took the special features and pin-ups to another level. I remember being stopped in my tracks while reading it for the first time.
  15. Nice score, jimmers! That Vault is not only my favorite EC hanging cover, but the first appearance of Horror Hostess Drusilla!
  16. I get you. But I think the idea here was to create interest for the Sub-Mariner feature that was about to displace Giant-Man in Astonish. FF and ASM were the center of The Marvel Universe at the time; more eyeballs! They pumped up Hulk’s feature just prior, and tried to increase readership in the struggling X-Men. Or maybe they just knew that guest stars were awesome, and there wasn’t room in a split book to do it justice.
