  1. Sure, I'll work on something :-) TY! Let me know if there is anything I can do to help.
  2. Archon_Turtle, I am thinking it would be a good idea to put a FAQ in the first post. Can include print run, average sale prices, why its collectable, etc. Thoughts?
  3. Hard to say as these have publicly been sold only a few times. Of the instances I know of: 1. $6000 asking "As someone else mentioned, there was a set at the VA Comicon last month. Bechara Malouf (an original art dealer) owns that set. For those that are interested, he was asking $6k for that set at the show. I thought this was an "extra" set came that one of the board members, but I could be wrong. Regardless, they only recently surfaced. " 2. The set that was for sale at SDCC was being offered at $5000...if I remember correctly. 3. Awhile back a single #1 was sold publicly for $1800 4. A single #1 sold on this board VERY quickly for $1200 now to long ago. That was a steal. I regret now picking it up. Anyone else know of public sales? I am guessing few of us want to discuss our private sales
  4. Anyone happen to have scans of those PGX authenticated copies?
  5. Archon_Turtle, That's quite the impressive collection man! You should try to win that OA for the #1 going up to auction and complete the set...assuming you think its real.
  6. I must say I am jealous of those counterfeits. I would love a set to match my real ones.
  7. Let's go ahead and make that thread for sure! I believe there are four of us (plus that one for sale) on the boards, which is a pretty amazing percent of the population of these books. But it would be interesting to see if we could get more out of the woodwork.
  8. Thanks to Danny I received in the mail today my very own set of Gobbledygooks Straight from the collection of Kevin Eastman, signed by both him and Peter Laird , along with turtle sketches by both. Additionally, the set is complete with a signed letter of authenticity from Eastman. I am ecstatic to have not only a super rare set of Gobbledygooks, the only set that where both file copies and Signed/Sketched by both Eastman and Laird. THANK YOU DANNY!
  9. Ridiculously hard book to find in WP... but yea Adam, mine is a WP also
  10. Which is a steal. I bid like $2303, and if I didn't bid the winner would have got it for $2,000. Too bad I'm short on cash, I really wanted it and, I'm sure it's worth way more. If anyone has that GPA(?) thing you can check the value. I'm guessing it's around $2,800+ -Pete GPA is right around $2,300-2,400. One copy did sell about a year or 2 ago in the 2800 range. Either way nice book for $2400. Congrats to the winner!
  11. Someone really got a good price on that 9.2. I have a raw fine copy and a graded 8.5. I would have paid way more than the final price for that 9.2 Agreed! Total steal!
  12. Just looks to me like a real copy with a bunch of water damage?
  13. Thats an absolute steal. I would have bid higher and I dont even need another copy
  14. BTW anyone heard any news recently about the upcoming turtles movie?
  15. [quote=DJB Cyberjad - See? I wasn't that far off with my estimated current value. Well at least comparative to what that person is trying to sell the book for. I did see 2 raw books owner graded at 9.0 each sell for $1,800 each on ebay . Something to take into consideration. Yea man I have not seen a 9.0 sell for less than around 1800. For $1500 it would be worth picking up just to flip. The GPA average for last year was $1850 and the last copy sold for $2200, with the low for this year beign $1801. Im just saying if you know where to get one for $1500 let me know
  16. I just showed my computer "My OH face!" Congrats man! Awesome books man
