  1. It's definitely a minor printing defect. Looking at the Heritage website I see that dot on at least three different 9.8 copies. If the grader's note is referring to that dot I would say that it is erroneous.
  2. That's 2 grades lower. 5.0 to 4.5 would be half a grade lower, etc.
  3. I've never been there but I used to get their catalogs back in the 1970s. Yes, I colored them myself.
  4. I bought this one at the Chicago Comicon in about 1986. I think I paid $60 for it. It is in wonderful condition other than the binder holes. I sold it a few years ago.
  5. I can't explain why you're seeing something that no one else is seeing. I see no difference, other than what can easily be explained away as a difference in lighting conditions.
  6. Yes, that's what usually happens when you have a spine roll pressed out. Looks like the same book to me.
  7. mustangp51777 Three bid retractions on the same item on three different days. Ridiculous! I blocked him.
  8. At the risk of exposing myself to ridicule, what is the problem with the left fist? I have stared and stared at this and I don't see anything amiss.
  9. Things had been running smoothly for me for a couple of weeks, but this morning I was logged out and couldn't log back in. I got the endless loop again. I had to log out of the CGC system entirely and log back in. I am running Chrome on Windows 10.
  10. I found who I sold it to back then by looking through my old feedback on eBay. Does your eBay ID start with an "H"?
  11. OMG, I used to own that copy on the left! It was in my collection for years. I sold it on eBay in about 2007 for $45.
  12. He created this one for my birthday. I was genuinely touched.
  13. That is gorgeous! Bernie signed it with greater care than he sometimes did. Two legendary creators who left us too soon.
  14. Here's one I used to own. Another horrific example where you can see where the price sticker was.
  15. When the printing press runs out of black ink and they just keep rolling with it, you know you must be reading a Charlton comic. (In this case Ghost Manor #63 from June 1982.)
  16. It was a real thrill getting to meet Kinstler! I see you met him at the same show I did, SDCC in 2006. I am not aware of him making any other convention appearances but maybe he did. Legendary comic book artist, illustrator and portrait painter.
  17. No, it's Grant Geissman's Tales of Terror/The EC Companion hardcover from 2000.
  18. That is spectacular! Wow, what a treasure. I never got to meet John Severin.
  19. Not a comic book but it's comic book-related. Probably my most cherished autographed item.
