13 is by far the easiest.
7 is by far in the greatest demand
10 is the weakest of the 3, and maybe scarcest, if such a thing applies
You’ve owned all 3.
Any pics/scans?

agreed. Although the 10 is the toughest of the three without question.
Only 18 blue label copies.

80 years ago today (5/2/39), one of my favorite comic books hit the newsstands: Action Comics #13
• 4th Superman cover appearance.
• “Arguably” the greatest GA Superman cover of them all.
• 1st appearance of the Ultra Humanite (1st supervillain in DC Comics history).
But it’s almost impossible to think of #13 without thinking about Action Comics #7 and Action Comics #10. The trio are some of the greatest and most desirable books in our hobby.
Yes, we already have an “Early Action Club.” Action Comics #1 commands a lot of discussion every time a copy surfaces for sale. But I’d like to see a club dedicated to these three books specifically.
If you have them and want to share them, this is the place.
I’ll kick things off with my entry ticket. Big thanks to Adam @Filter81 ! Pretty cool to be getting this around the 80th anniversary.

No Bruce Nelson No CF. Maybe last page of the CA ??
That would be half the centerfold, which would still be incredibly valuable.
Lots of unknown here.

"DETECTIVE COMICS # 27 (May 1939) - the next page of your comic begins "Let's go to my den where we can talk safely!" Buck Marshall Range Detective , Spy, and The Crimson Avenger follow. BUT this is the comic that introduced Batman, or "The Bat-Man" in the first 6 pages of its 64."
From what's visible in the pics, pages 1-4 are missing so it stands to reason that pages 29-32 are also missing.
No mention of Speed Saunders, Bruce Nelson, Dr. Fu Manchu, Cosmo or Slam Bradley.
The correct order of Buck Marshall --> Spy --> Crimson Avenger is listed.
I'm assuming he forgot to add "Speed Saunders" because the splash/title page (page 4) is missing, so he didn't know what to call it even though the one page that's photographed is from the Speed Saunders story.
The seller either listed all of the character stories the copy contains, or forgot to list the 4 stories that followed Crimson Avenger. In either case, the centerfold begins with the final story page of Crimson Avenger.

Major outlier publically. Bob storms sold one soon after for 36k I believe. Harboring between 8-12k a point since then. I expected this book to blow past this range by now. Makes me think 38 will never be considered in the same breathe as a solo Bats pre Robin Tec.
I’m not sold on that. At all.

Hi guys,
I’m in the process of expanding my archive to include photos and scans from Action Comics #7, #10 and #13.
I have everything from Heritage’s archive and many for other major auction houses as well.
If anyone has scans/pics that they are willing to share, either in this thread or via PM, it would be a tremendous help.

An Action Comics #10 CGC 0.5 (missing FC) is coming to auction.

Any predictions? The last 0.5 via GPA (brittle pages, missing BC) sold for $23,000 in January.
