    for me it depends on where it's spent i put 200 a month and let that build till i find something special though i always take the whole amount with me to shows since you never know (i've made it to 600 before then i found something), and once a month i go on ebay to find a 30 or lower book that is paid out of that money....................currently 2 books away from uncanny x-men run and about 12-13 if you include variants/con books so saveing till i find a good copy/right price of the expensive one of the 2 when i go to shows i take 200 and that's my spending money for the show and am very strict on that lv even though i have more on me, for cons imo if you can't take a few thousand (2k+) there's no point in going and for myself haven't been to a con in a few years at lcs i grab whatever seems intresting from the preview so that might be 10 books or 1 or nothing for the month, i only hit once a month and spend 50+ but that could mostly be back issues/hole filler, wall books or supplies...........lol i tend to buy that 1st issue as a test to see if i like it as most do and even if i like it i kinda forget to let them know to start pulling it for me so unless i remember to grab the next issue off the shelf, well lets just say i save quite a bit bc of this reason

    look at raw gradeing as a game, sometimes you hit and sometimes you miss. though if your going to play the game learn to grade better or at least be realistic in what you think they will get, the majority of my books were all bought raw and sometimes i miss and it's worse somtimes they come back better or close to what i thought they would..........point is you can't take it personaly or it sucks all the fun out of it. never sell to a dealer, in fact make that the last thing you do not the 1st since there are so meny different optinons to selling so you reap the rewards and not them.

    karl you insure your books for FMV of what you think they will be? why? you have no clue what they are going to be once they come back, personaly if under 200 i put what i paid and if over 200 i just say 200 then add that up and that's the insurence i get at the PO. i can't comment on ccs prices as i only use them for SS books and always do the $10 option, i use people outside of cgc for pressing bc i get the same lv of service for the same price/cheeper and faster. can't say on ups shipping prices, use usps with flat rate priority and it's 13.65 on a full order of 25, that's 1.80 per book shipping 1 way, just pack them really really good is all.........................sounds like you add extra costs on for basicly no reason on pressing i pay about 250 but i'm also sending 25 books, from my math it runs me about 600-700 for a modern order (1975+) and 900-1k for older (1974-)

    the ones on hulks chest and face look like printer/ink defects cause i see nothing when held in the light to suggest they were added after and they have a blue dot look which i have seen on meny other books when ink was missed.........the discolor at the bottom corner seems more rub like someone tried to scratch something off the book. there is drops of something at hulks waste and down the bent leg that you can't see in the scan but don't affect the color of his pants at all, the only part where it affects color is on the aliens chest which is the line you can see going across his chest these can only be seen in angled light and outside of the bag

    guessing 4.5-5.5, at the top the white line at the end of "greatest" it looks like a rip but only the very very top on the edge is the rip and not the entire line. on the side of the book about even with the tigers butt that is also a small rip, imo it's larger then the one at the top but as you can see even the side one isn't big ty for the help

    ok im not the best at gradeing other then the basics, personaly i think this might be in the 5.0 range. the staples i can't tell if they have rust but they are deffently not silver but more a gray but no hint of brown (rust) i can see. All defects can be seen but if you require more pics please let me know ty for the help

    was looking for a list of rare warrens and am working on eerie, creepy and vampi runs but am not worried about HG though i do have a few that are 8.0-9.4 and then i have this book and it sucks bc the dealer had issue 1 in the same condition (both raw) from the same OO and i missed it by 10min's and it still haunts me
