  1. I remember the issue of Tom Strong where he finds himself in a funny animal universe and meets his rabbit-headed counterpart, Warren Strong.
  2. I've just caught up, watching the first seven episodes - and I really like it. Pretty much how I'd imagine a live-action Gotham Central comic to be.
  3. Glad to hear there were no broken bones, Jimmers.
  4. [font:Book Antiqua]Is a good game, the bad reputation is based mostly in the ending. [/font] I might pick a copy up from Amazon UK for £7, then.
  5. Is Mass Effect 3 a bad game to play through, or is it just tarnished by its complete letdown of an ending?
  6. Slight front cover RH top corner press on the raw copy, submitted for grading, received a 9.0. On straight re-sub, the book was regraded 9.4. A 4 point grade increase. It's definitely a keeper, though.
  7. Something I've waited a long time for... Original... Regraded... I bought the book, not the number. Happy either way.
  8. It took quite a while for me to have the book shipped over, and during the interim it was sent back to CGC for regrading. The book now looks like this... Either way, I'm happy. I bought the book, not the number.
  9. From the Eternals comic book. The genetic experiments of the Celestials created Humans, Eternals and Deviants. The Deviants have an extremely unstable genome and look extremely dissimilar to each other, often mutated into quite monstrous forms.
  10. If you mean sandbox, I'd recommend the Infamous series, especially the second game.
  11. You still enjoying Destiny? I played about a week ago and just found it boring. The game needs a serious update and some cleaning up. On a related note, I picked up Halo Master Chief Collection. There are some huge matchmaking glitches that they are trying to fix and hopefully will by the end of the week. However, playing the cleaned up Halo 2 is an experience. It is a blast! It has been years since I played. If anyone picks it up and wants someone to play co-op, hit me up with a PM. After defecting to PS 3, the only series I really missed was Halo. I still have Lego Batman : DC Super-Heroes to do in my PS3 backlog. A fun series.
  12. I've decided to wait for next year's Rogue extended cut Blu-ray.
  13. I like Schultz's work. Mike Hoffman is the most blatant.
  14. The only coffee I remember having that tasted chocolatey was an Indonesian blend.
  15. I've always preferred coffee to tea. I used a cafetiere and ground coffee for a number of years and then, all of a sudden, I couldn't be arsed anymore and went back to supermarket instant. The brand I use doesn't have the subtlety, flavour or aroma notes of a more sophisticated blend, but it's cheap and pretty good, actually - and still contains caffeine, most importantly.
  16. The Impossibles. The first super-hero cartoon series I ever saw.
  17. I keep forgetting that you are old enough to have courted the younger sisters of Ditch's conquests. I still have my red vinyl, Canadian import copy of Hemispheres. Anthem label. Also, I have no idea what this is but it sounds old. It's about time for me to try to convert the album to a 24-bit resolution FLAC file version. I have no idea what this is either but it sounds like it is approaching relatively recent. Still old. Think of it as being a compressed music file that sounds identical to the original recording. A current generation choice for audiophiles, rather than using MP3s.

  20. I always thought you loved my stream of consciousness nonsense... Sigh.... Off to eat some worms... From ferns That grew from the nutrients Of rotting dream donut Munching corpses Rising to air drum Along with RUSH. That's a bit grim, Jimmers. Apart from the Neil Peart appreciation at the end.
  21. I use this source for information about the featured artists... http://z6.invisionfree.com/popscene/index.php?s=086f285017681a39114da8aec3412c83&showtopic=8918 Interesting reading.
  22. It's a great idea and count me as a fan, particularly of his taste in music. On BBC Four we're getting repeats from 1979 of a music show called 'Top of the Pops', which has featured performances from bands such as The Jam, The Who (Quadrophenia), and ska tracks from Madness, The Specials and The Selecter.
