  1. Yup. Exactly the same strategy for me. By the time I've finished with my backlog the new GTA should be down to £15 or less - my typical price range. I'm playing Oblivion as an Imperial Archer.
  2. I've just started playing Oblivion, I also have Skyrim, and so it could be quite a while before I get the new GTA, as much as I like the series. Three very, very big, time-consuming games.
  3. I've read that it was originally planned as DLC and then expanded or padded out a bit to full campaign game length.
  4. Mock rock. Whispering Bob's description of The New York Dolls.
  5. George Roussos, now better known as an inker, did the art on a few stories at EC. Didn't like them much.
  6. I like Feldstein's stiff-figure interior art in the science-fiction books because it makes the characters look rigid with extreme fear, and a lot of these stories are about alien paranoia of one form or another. While very flawed, his art could look quite appropriate for the subject matter.
  7. That was quite educational - thanks, Nick. (thumbs u Possibly something you have first-hand knowledge of because of the Mildenhall collection?
  8. Certainly a bad miswrap, but I was expecting something really terrible as I scrolled down. At least it's fairly even.
  9. I just couldn't be bothered with thinking up a clever alias. One day, maybe , I will change to my first rather than middle name. If I can work up the enthusiasm.
  10. It's pretty awesome, isn't it? I was all the way through. I actually wasn't expecting too much with this one but Rockstar may have just done it again. The graphics look much better than GTA 4, but the trailer did seem a little padded out and maybe enhanced to me, with possible cut scenes lacking in-play HUDs rather than purely gameplay. I'm a big fan of the series, so I'm looking forward to the new one. (thumbs u
  11. It's very warm and sunny here. Manchester has lost its grimness, temporarily.
  12. Give it a go. I agree, this thread is an affront to everything. I sense affrontment. There's too much Brit humour and general messing about and no speculator talk! It's gone on long enough!
  13. Finding a high grade raw issue of this comic is not an easy thing. I have many raw issues of this comic. (thumbs u
  14. The Groot story is also in the Monster Masterworks trade paperback from 1989.
  15. I'm always cautious about buying a new console until I've seen reports about its reliability. I still have many PS3 games to do, so no need to retire it yet.
  16. I enjoyed the first three Splinter Cell titles. Great stealth games.
  17. A couple of items that I always enjoy looking at, Jimmers. The default image for my collection's cover gallery archive... My favourite art commission...
  18. No. I'm a big fan of Cockrum's Legion run and his Timber Wolf redesign. Decent in-joke for a lot of us, at the very least.
