  1. Just hazzarding a guess, it looks like a Bob Storm's scan. We had a PM chat about it.
  2. Some more BA purchases with great presentation, which is all that really matters to me ...
  3. Picked them up at LSCC. All of my books are pre-purchased. I don't handle the convention environment well, putting it mildly, and I don't have much confidence in my decision making under such conditions.
  4. Now i've hit 50, best not to risk injuring myself with a challenge quite that demanding. Better I stay with something sensible, such as Oblivion or Skyrim on medium difficulty. Elder Scrolls... that seems just right for me.
  5. Hopefully one day you, along with some randomness, will make it to the London con?
  6. I'm sure there must be many posts online already suggesting that any space created in the dump should be used to bury copies of Alien : Colonial Marines.
  7. That is so completely beyond my skill level.
  8. It's the kind of problem that suggests a firmware update might be required. Strange and disappointing that it happened on a brand-new system, because my copy of the film works perfectly in a 2-year-old Panasonic Blu-Ray player.
  9. Sorcerer Supreme, make him Wakandan = film crossover potential.
  10. Nice books. One of my favourite British Marvel titles because of the SA X-Men reprints.
  11. It's very photogenic. More often than not, snaps of fast food don't turn out looking quite that good.
  12. F.Y.I. The dead space series is In my opinion the new DOOM. Fair comparison. Also, of all of them, DS 3 is more a third-person shooter than primarily survival horror.
  13. I have a taste for gluten-free muesli with skimmed milk. However, because of the fruit and sugar content, it isn't as healthy as bran flakes. Occasionally, I add a sprinkle of granola on top.
  14. It's going to be the same game, and believe me, I agree with many of your issues with the sequel. Seriously, if you find the original Borderlands for cheap, give it a shot. It's by far the superior game, and a lot of the BL2 hype is due to goodwill created by the original. I played Borderlands 1 for a few hours, but found the levelling up a bit too tedious.
  15. It's supposed to be getting quite grim, any time now, here in the north west.
  16. Not sure. It's a beautiful-looking copy, and I'm happy with it. No intention of having it graded.
  17. Horse. Wiffle ball. Bondo-Man, the man of living Bondo.
  18. It's pretty good (I liked it anyway) It's like Splinter Cell, only you're a hitman, and get money for your targets. I gave up on the Hitman HD Trilogy. Terrible AI and stealth. The first 3 Splinter Cell games are far better.
  19. Same reason I'm happy with my 9.0. Here's the back cover of my copy...
