  1. It was strange to us in 2005 when Robojo sold ‘9.8’ and ‘9.9’ keys on eBay, but didn’t deal in or use CGC. We’ve seen this movie before.
  2. This. Join date is gone, exact post count is gone, and avatar pics are distorted. Stop fixing what isn’t broken!!
  3. Wasn’t a hunt. JJJ started riding a broom around in a cape, black pointy hat, hook nose and dared us to look. In all seriousness, your attitude is the same as a lot of us had early on with the Jason Ewert/FF 3 affair. ‘It can’t be Ewert, he’s a well known and respected member of the hobby. No way he trimmed that book.’ As the board detectives dug further, though, it turned into: ‘Holy , it was Ewert! ‘
  4. I need to ask… did you ever get to twist supapimp into a balloon animal?
  5. Yes. Absolutely yes. Especially those of us who saw Danny’s previous long cons, including false names, addresses, and internet accounts.
  6. Cool. You’ve unearthed a new 1/1 variant, Karl.
  7. Your improbable and convoluted explanations include immediate e-mail responses from KSH in the Peck thread, and just happening to be following the Dazzler listing that Peck ultimately bought. You’ve been too smart by half here Danny; you’ve outed yourself.
  8. I did not know this-can you point me to anywhere that shows his expertise? He was arrested, with Glen Beram, in 1995 for selling forged sports autographs from the hobby store ‘Wall of Fame’ https://www.oklahoman.com/article/2503559/memorabilia-store-accused-of-fraud
  9. Turn around, tune in, drop out…
  10. Not by me. Having you here is probably best.
  11. Improbable and convoluted explanation. A reformed Danny? Will be interesting to follow.
  12. Your return to the Gold500 thread is requested.
  13. Has to be. Dupcak was in prison. JJJ was played by an actor who starred in a prison series. Slam dunk.
  14. Compared to *today's print runs*, they were. I’m only pushing back on the idea they were ‘overprinted’, the word used in the quote I responded to. The post-Unity Valiant? Those were overprinted, even by the standards of the time.
  15. While that's true, they're also nowhere near as low as things like TMNT or Albedo. Oh, hell no. Even in the late 80s, those books were not easy to find.
  16. I like a good homage cover. I don’t like seeing that same homage on a book a month.
