  1. Thank you, sir! Take it easy on the LCS bins out there in Chi-town; I might want to do an LCS road trip through there.
  2. It is almost certainly their latest marketing push. I’ve got some suspicion of that as well. Their business model certainly deserves a bad outcome, though, IMHO.
  3. So, a company that limited its distribution, and limited customer purchases is going out of business?
  4. Jupiter’s Legacy? Now, more like Uranus’ Legacy.
  5. The ugly truth is this: eBay is the worst way to sell online... except for all the others.
  6. It’s a progression. Murky as hell to define. If you are a Croc fan, I think it’s a case of buying all of Bats 357/358 and Tec 523/524.
  7. I am going to disagree. I dont think Silvestri got good until he left for Cyberforce. His X-men art was maybe a little better then average. Now his second run on X-men was fantastic. I’m going to agree with your disagreement. There was nothing terribly appealing about Silvestri on Wolverine or Web, until he adopted some of the trending stylistic cues from Lee and McFarlane and tightened up his pencils.
  8. Yup. As sellers, if we all do that, we are just shooting ourselves in the foot. Say goodbye to the new buyers and the new golden age of selling circa 2020.
  9. It’d carry more weight, if the storyline hadn’t originally been written by DeMatteis as a Batman story. As it is, J.M. salvaged his -script, and shoehorned it into a Kraven/Spidey story.
  10. Color me jealous. I get a haircut, and go back, they’d frown and say, ‘C’mon, buddy... one per. You were just here five minutes ago!’
  11. Know any good pressers? Color rub, especially on a white background, can probably be fixed with an absorene pad...
  12. Batman 655/656 - Damian has become an indispensable character in the Batman mythos. Detective 647 - Spoiler/Stephanie Brown...same thought process. X-Men 125/126 - Proteus. Fantastic multi media property, if studios realize hero versus hero is what fans would like to see.
  13. The I-III trilogy have aged well, for me. Seeing Anakin go to town on the Tusken Raiders, and the drivers of that personal evolution, was an elegant piece of storytelling for me.
  14. If someone you know has it and can ADD you to their household (they can add 1), you can access to the Amazon Prime Video as well. That, or you, Marx, and Engels can share a subscription.
  15. This cycle plays out ad infinitum. Buy an Overstreet Price Update from the late 80’s, and some OS advisor or another will be observing that Marvel keys have run up, and DC keys are a relative bargain. Of course, past performance is no guarantee of future returns, but buying DC keys in these instances has turned out well...
  16. Epic has sued Apple, and the case comes before the courts this week, IIRC.
  17. Not only that, but Marvel double shipped the book. I was mad at the time - thought for sure they’d killed it.
  18. Folks can look up 154 and see it is expensive. All the 150s are at a premium. Yup, they can. But they’d have to have a reason to do so. I didn’t have a reason (until noted in this thread) and so I didn’t know, despite having a couple of copies. More people being aware will free up more copies.
