  1. Thanks. Here are some of the other highlights from this submission: Copy #2
  2. Wow. I think I might put up my last remaining copy, a lowly 9.0, for $400 on eBay to see what happens after seeing the 9.6 go for $800.
  3. You sold it too soon, noob. It was already in the ComicLink auction, jerkus Still sold it to soon, rookie....... BTW, what grade did that Ms. Marvel #1 you bought off of me in Calgary come back at - was it a 9.6? 9.4 Should've told him it was the 9.8. The only copy that had a shot at 9.8 was the one I subbed and it hit the 9.8.............but I sold it earlier this year before the price jump.
  4. Fresh back from Sarasota as of today:

  6. I received a Copper Age Halloween gift from CGC today. Tricks or Treats?
  7. Canadian price variant? I believe so. I will check it out tomorrow and see what I have.
  8. Some are, but a lot of them are not. You should still be able to find a copy for a reasonable price if you are patient.
  9. Ms. Marvel #1 will be fine price wise. It is in the late BA/early CA group that is finally making the big price jump just like the early BA stuff did in the mid 00s.
  10. The Hellblazer #1 is at $32 now with 8 hours left, so there will likely be more room to run up. If it hits around $50 that will be a good price for a dead book not that long ago......
  11. I like the look of the WW Monsters cover this week. That book might have some longer term legs.
  12. The market is speaking. JO #134 is the 1st Darkseid appearance to have.......
  13. We have a couple of LCSs here that have slowly been moving 8.0s - 9.0s for $300 this year. I would imagine that with the movie announcement it will be easier for them now.
  14. Just got the grades for my latest submission from CGC and I will post my Bone #1 once it arrives. It graded out higher than I expected. 7/91 Cartoon Books Bone 1 9.8 pedigee: country: variant: category: Modern page quality: WHITE
  15. That's insane. I understand the census is low because it was never really worth subbing, but good lord, can people not wait? in a few months ebay will have plenty. I was happy selling 2 this year for $100.00, this is going to be fish in a barrell.. It is interesting to see raw copies hitting $20 - $30. I have to dig out the copies I already have and see if any are worth grading. I did pull another CDN newsstand copy out of an LCS on the way home for $2.
  16. I might have to check my 361 2nd prints now looking at these results.
  17. I suspect this is a NM98 after effect. OR, is it the Liefeld and X-Force tv show effect? I haven't seen anything about an X-Force TV show. I thought I saw that in a Modern discussion someplace. Maybe I am mistaken.

  19. We have been getting $30+ for raw VF/NM or better ASM #361s for the past 4 years up here, and $40+ for the past two, with copies going for $50+ this year. It has been selling well above OSPG for the past few years. You price them high, put them out, they sell. Heck, this spring I sold my CGC 9.6 copy of #361 for $250 and 9.6 copy of #362 for $150. Pffft. You're special. I was actually speechless when the guy handed me the $$$ for the 9.6 #361. He did not even haggle - he just handed me the money and said thanks. I could not believe it. I did not have the #362 out at that point as I did not think the #361 would sell at that price, so I quickly stickered it and within an hour it was gone.

  21. I think it's a PC angle DC is taking in an effort to try to slow Marvel down. Marvel zombie. A Wonder Woman movie makes sense if she is in Dawn of Justice and JLA. It is a no brainer due to the fit with the DCU, just like a ScarJo Black Widow movie would be fine for Marvel IMHO. That being said, it will be interesting to see how many 2nd and 3rd tier character feature films get cancelled if Ant-Man flops. Announcing a production schedule for 1st tier characters is one thing, but if Ant-Man does not do well then I can see a lot of the fringe characters having their big screen debut cancelled. At some point the market will become oversaturated with comic movies, and 2 - 3 years from now we may be hitting that point.
