  1. So, can we start to dicsuss issue #3 now?
  2. Read #3 tonight and thought it was great. The story is building very nicely. Too bad we have to wait another 4 weeks for #4.
  3. Thanks for starting this thread. I was not aware of the book being hot, but landed Mind Mgmt #1-3 at a LCS when I went in to see if they had any Nowhere Men #3s left.
  4. Is the story as cool as the cover?
  5. Anyone read #3 yet? If yes, does the story carry on nicely from #2?
  6. Looks like I will be cruising around comic stores tomorrow snagging as many copies of #2 (2nd ) and #3 that I can during lunch. So far so good.......
  7. that's what I thought, thanks, cheers Does not sell on eBay either...........fricking Spider-Man ruins the cover........
  8. Hawkeye is still scorching as well. I sold this for the BIN in an hour and a half tonight on eBay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=251220689343
  9. Bought a nice run of New 52 Batmans from Chris. Fast shipping and accurate grading. Great seller to deal with. (thumbs u
  10. Looking at the current frenzy over Image and other modern books, I have a deja vu feeling about the comic market right now........
  11. i hope it tops $200 If it hits close to that I guess my next submission will be a bunch of moderns then. I have some NM 98s and such books that I was going to send with my next bronze group but the prices on these Image books makes the gamble worth it. i would send the NM 98s anyway. its amazing what that book goes for since there are probably at least 250,000 still out there. Definitely. These copies came from a LCS where the owner still had a spec case kicking around from when they were release. As he says now, the return on that case should get him to break even on all of the other cases/long boxes of spec 90s books he still has in the back.

  13. It will be interesting to see where this book ends up: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Nowhere-Men-1-First-Print-CGC-9-8-Hot-Image-Comic-Dont-Miss-SOLD-OUT-/111005346315?pt=US_Comic_Books&hash=item19d86f2a0b#ht_1221wt_1141
  14. Looks like the hunt for 9.8s is on based on the questions I am getting regarding corners and spines on my eBay auction.
  15. Spoken like someone from Alberta Just kidding, lovin' the story so far. Manhattan Projects with a different twist. I have not read MP so I cannot comment - the artwork was just too horrible for me to read it. I did snag a 1st print run of #3-7 during a 50% off Boxing Day sale to flip, though. Back to NM, I sold a #1 within 24 hrs at a BIN of $29.99 today. Probably left a bit on the table, but I just need to move three more at that price and I will have 20+ copies kicking around all paid for.
  16. There are two "layers" to the storyline that can be played out nicely now: 1) the "break up" of the world corp founders and nasty corporate games they will play against one another and 2) the "evolution" of the virus sufferers from the space station. It will be cool to see how they move things forward from here, but the first two issues have served as s nice prologue for a longer story line IMHO. (thumbs u
  17. I like this title better than PP or Revival, but to each their own.
  18. Interesting that the print run is less than 1/3 of Saga #1... very interesting So......it should be worth 3x the price of Saga #1 at the same point of the series.
  19. Preach on brotha. As long as I can recover the costs of the copies that I will be keeping for my collection, I'm good. The other copies will be for flipping, but hopefully at higher prices. I was fortunate to have gone "all in" before #2 hit the stands and have 25 or so copies on hand now.
  20. The thing is, this book was a relative slow burner until the last week or so when people caught on after #2. I think the low print run combined with lack of initial interest due to a so-so preview is the kicker here. Those of us that read #1 and liked them snapped up the remaining copies before #2 hit and now the lack of supply is fueling prices.
  21. I am going to put up one or two this week in the $30 - $40 range and see what happens. Moving 2 or 3 at that price will cover all of the other #1s, #1bs and #2s I picked up.
