Just placed an order on mycomicshop for some other books and decided to snag 5 more just in case.......

Exactly. Some poor suckers paid big money for the 2nd prints that were advertised as #1 Thought Bubble Variants without realizing the difference. I agree that the 2nd print cover is cooler, though.

In an attempt to get things back on track, here is someting from the Nowhere Men thread..........

Revival #1 and Nowhere Men #1 are on similar slow burn rises right now. Looks like both with pop sooner than later like Saga or MP based on reader interest right.

A fellow boardie from Edmonton landed 15 copies of Saga #1 raw 1st print from an LCS in late October at cover.......

Definitely for now, but I think there is going to be some fun nastiness between the four egg heads that will be interesting to follow. I am curious to see how the teleportation worked out.......

The sad thing is that I could have landed more, plus some #1s ($9.95 apiece) and #2s, at cover at two of the LCSs if I had been paying attention to Image during my New 52 buying spree in October & November. I was able to nearly fill a long box with early Batmans and associated Bat titles for cover during those months and probably could have done the same with Saga.

Very nice! I jumped on the Saga bandwagon too late, but I did manage to land these from a couple of LCSs in December for cover or less (50% of boxing day sales are ). I had a #1 from earlier via a trade, and landed a #2 and #6 (not shown) in another deal on the boards for cover.

As we discussed earlier, due to the lower print run it will be interesting to see how high this book can go. So far the story is intriguing - hopefully it keeps building from here. Image is turning out some great non-hero reads right now. I foolishly passed on Saga, ToT and MP last year, but hopefully this one catches similar fire as I have a few copies stashed this time around.

This was book that likely had pre-orders killed by a mediocre preview. It is a great read, so hopefully the broader public clues in sooner than later.

Looks like if you are selling it does not pay to list without a high starting bid or BIN, or better off to use a higher fixed listing. Re-read #1 and #2 this weekend and it seems better the second time around. Looking forward to #3 coming out to see what happened to the station and if the teleportation worked. Right now they are setting this series up with a few different plot lines that should be fun to follow.

I snagged 6 copies of #2 last week for 4.99 UK apiece last week. After I snagged them, the same seller posted another 8 copies at 7.99 UK apiece. They sold within hours.

I like the covers to the Phantom Program, but my only complaint is that a lot of Marvel #1s that arrived at LCS here were damaged along the way - both the Cap and Hulk #1s were dinged at the top of the spine or bottom right corner on most of the copies they received (I went through the stacks they did not put out as well). Mind you, it is not just a Phantom variant problem as a lot of DC and Marvel books I have seen locally are dinged during packing/shipping here.

And Midtown does not appear to have any 2nd prints left. Lonestar is out as well. Damnit, looks like I missed out unless one of the LCSs I have not gone to yet has one.

Is that all Saga? Very nice! I got into the book too late to snag #1 for cheap and only have 1 copy of it. Another local boardie beat me to a huge haul in October at a LCS that had a stack of them at cover. Right now I have 1 complete set, plus 5+ copies of every other issue from #2 - 6. Is it worth grabbing 5+ of #7 and #8 as well?

I will proudly flip the hell out of anything Superior Spider-Man related right now and would certainly not be caught dead reading it. +1 I definitely stand corrected. I just hate to see good stories go unappreciated. Are you saying the Superior Spidey story arc is good?

I am sure that the local stores will have them at $0.50 to $1.00 apiece at the local shows for a while based on the number that are still on the shelves currently. Are they out of print this go round already, or is Image just printing to order in perpetuity on them?

Agreed, but check out those prices for raw lots I posted above. I am noticing the same thing with some New 52 DCs as well - sets fetching a premium for whatever reason. I had someone BIN my Batman 0-13 + Ann 1 for $170.
