  1. The ad I posted from Action #19 is in the middle of the book. Is it on the last page of adventure? Yep, last page on the Adventure #45.
  2. Congrats And yes, the last page of Action #19 (along with at least Adventure #45) features the earliest published art of Flash and Hawkman. Ads for books are awesome
  3. That would be awesome :headband: Unfortunately, it might be too much excitement for WB to bring in Hawkman so early in the game.
  4. Don't remember the link, but I did see the season 3 Arrow extended trailer today.....they show Ray's first introduction to Oliver Queen....as well as Ra's Al Ghul.
  5. book sold raw on Heritage in 2009 for $1,553.50. if someone was interested, they should check out the large Heritage scans in their archives. It probably sold that high on Heritage back then because it was described as being complete. Unfortunately, the cf is missing and so is the last page. Also, even the cover must be very brittle as it has lost pieces over the years
  6. Wonderful book! I love the innocent, cosy nostalgia Golden Age Christmas covers feature. Congrats!
  7. Very awesome news and great actor! I really felt for him the way the Superman movie almost destroyed his career. However, with Arrow, the Flash and now Atom around, the TV DCU is starting to bloom and paving an excellent opportunity for the JL or Teen Titans. Showcase #34 has been a very undervalued book for a very long time. Considering that VF- copies can be had for $700 or less, it is one of the most inexpensive SA 1st apps. Can't wait to see the Atom in Action
  8. Congrats George! Ryan, continues to out do himself! I like the Marvel Mystery 40 on the TV tube in the background! Was that your idea George!? Thank you, Ben It turned out that Ryan and me are both suckers for Zeppelins and I am honestly delighted by the detail he put into the screen image. It was the first part he finished and I got so excited about it that I couldn't stop to constantly think about the final outcome of the piece. He put so much detail and thought into this and even altered and added a few tiny details...I have had this master piece for a few months now and am thrilled every single time I look at it.
  9. I think this is one of the coolest recreations Ryan -the Amazing- Heshka ever did and I am extremely happy to be owning this extraordinary master piece.
  10. Does this count? by Ryan -the Amazing- Heshka (notice the capital A )
  11. Batman v Superman rumored to have four villains in addition to Lex Luthor Not sure if I like this. The several villains concept worked out bad in the latest Spider-Man movie and even horribly in Batman and Robin. Concentrating on fewer villains with more depth in character usually is more interesting.
  12. Wow! Nothing short of wow! I just watched the Flash pilot and I thought it was waaay better than Smallville and Arrow. Good cast, good story, great pace, loved it! It is also appealing to a younger audience than the dark themed Arrow is, which might help its popularity a lot. I could see prices rising even faster once the series gets started
  13. The headgear looks way too big on her in the left pic and the overall outfit looks bad. I don't sympathize with the badly made eagle on her chest. Have they ever seen armors from the Hellenistic period? They made beautiful and esthetically very appealing armors/ uniforms. Let alone that she probably shouldn't fight in a white long cloak. Looks cheap. Not slick at all.
  14. Having a creators/ original cover artists signature on the cover of a huge DC key is such a horrible thing to do. (tsp) Lucky for you I have a heart for such unwanted books, would take it off your hands and would put it up right next to my shameful DC key signature addition. Unfortunately having a SC#22 signed by Kane in a CGC SS was not an option Your signed Hulk #1 also rocks btw
  15. Awesome book! Considering that Mary was around long before Supergirl, it is a shame that she is utterly unknown to most people today and therefore sadly under-appreciated.
