  3. No Turoks or did I miss them? I know that french versions exist. That link is for "Éditions Héritage" French Canadian reprints. Other titles not included in that link (like Turok) were originally either from France or Belgium .

  5. Front cover looks like a 8.0/8.5 but books was hammered down because of a tape stain on back which I can live with. Very happy with this copy
  6. Slightly miscut but not trimmed. Another zillaf4 acquisition

  12. In the nineties, after I did return for a second time some overgraded books that I did purchase by mail from Metropolis, Stephen Fishler told me on the phone that he did not want to sell me comics anymore because I was too much of a "picky collector". That sounded cool name though and when I started buying/selling on eBay, I used the nickname that Metropolis created for me.
  13. link? http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=6802762#Post6802762 Yeesh. He's also got the PP 3%, and prices 25% above his own quoted GPA. http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=6808769#Post6808769 *sigh* *shiver* I dont understand what "Please keep in mind the books are pretty much maximized." means.... that sounds like they are pressed, but then he suggests they could be improved with pressing. What does "maximized" mean? He could mean that the pictures of the books are maximized in size, therefore the obvious defects that are jumping out at everybody look worse in the pictures then they actually do in hand. I'm not defending the seller's style of listing, just taking a stab at what he means. He means "I would rather overgrade than undergrade". I went back and re-read his statement - you're right. Which is odd. If the books are "maximized"(over-graded) how do they have grade bump potential from pressing as he claims? Because they're already graded, and priced, at the post-pressed level. Don't you see? It's brilliant! Moreover, if somebody had bought the Showcase #36 or the DD #4, the only thing he would have need to do after he gets your money was to purchase the book!
  14. Posted this in the TOS appreciation thread but I think it would fit well here too. Still raw and in my collection since 1988:
