  1. Quick payment, great guy to do business with, highly recommend (thumbs u
  2. Just bought some very nice books from Robert (ST 131, FF 11, FF 18). Great service, excellent packaging and quick delivery, very happy with my purchase (thumbs u
  3. Found this week-end the two following books in a local shop: French Atom #1 and Turok #1 (both from 1972) These books are very hard to find in decent shape. Now I am pondering if I will re-sell them or keep them for me
  4. Ok, one more run and I stop here. I will list more mags if I can sell some of those already listed. Unknown Worlds of Science-Fiction #1-6 + Special #1 Grades as follow: #1: 9.6/9.8 #2: 9.2/9.4 #3: 9.6/9.8 (dust on lower right is due to scanner, not from book) #4: 9.4 #5: 9.4 #6: 9.2 Special #1: 9.4 $200 + shipping for the whole run
  5. Sorry, but these are from my personal collection and I would sell the HoH #1-5 as a set only (or otherwise will prefer to keep them for me)
  6. Sorry, my whole run of Tales of the Zombie is currently on hold
  7. Weird Tales of the Macabre #1 NM: $60 + shipping cost MOVED TO MY FS THREAD Jeff Jones painted cover
  8. Let's try then: Haunt of Horror #1-5 (all avg 9.2/9.4): $150 + shipping cost for the whole run MOVED TO MY FS THREAD AND SOLD
  9. In order to finance my Carstensz Pyramid climb project, I am considering selling some parts of my collection. That would probably mean for now all my magazines runs. So if you are looking for any Marvel/Curtis magazine full run in very high grade, just let me know.
  10. I have both color "variants". The dark one and the pale one:
  11. Added a total of six JIM's to my collection recently. Here is one that I was looking for a very long time:
  12. Received a few books from david20009, some of them are among the best 8.0's that I have seen in a long time. The following is probably the best acquisition, solid 8.0 and a hard to find book in high grade:
  13. The first issues (Spider-Man 1-2, Hulk 1-3 and FF 1) are almost impossible to find in high grade. The cover is made of the same paper as the inside pages (in color), and were printed in a very low quality paper. Moreover, a very low quantity of these issues has been printed. No need to say that any copy above VF is extremely rare. After these issues, they started printing the interior in black and white and used better quality paper for the cover, like these ones below. I had all issues in 9.0/9.2 when I was a kid but sold them all as a lot to start collecting original US versions. What a mistake! Now I am trying hard to retrieve these issues in nice shape but the opportunities in the last 20 years can be counted in one hand. I am still looking for nice copies of FF 1 and Hulk 2-3. The hardest of all is by far the Hulk #2.
  14. I bought from him more than once, both on eBay and outside eBay and all transactions went very well. I don't think he's a board member but he is a very reputable seller.
  15. Just asking but is probation list only for Board public transactions or also includes transactions made through PM in the Forum ?
  16. Got some nice Spideys from Ken, awesome seller, highest recommendations !!
  17. Me and my team got jammed three full days in a snowstorm this summer in my first attempt to climb Denali so I had a good idea how nature can be merciless sometimes.
  18. "To the top of Denali" by Bill Sherwonit and "Into thin air" by Jon Krakauer.
  19. +1 Now if the book was not pressed but got an upgrade on a straight resub I can live with that as CGC grading is just an opinion and its grading is very irregular and unpredictable sometimes. But sure I will appreciate any more info on the book. If the book got two different grades by CGC doesn't mean either of them was accurate, which is why I often ask the seller through PM what are the defects on the book and/or call CGC for the notes to have more info and decide if I want to purchase the book.
  20. Bought a TOS 37 from Art and I was very happy with the purchase (thumbs u
