Nice! Tied at the top. One of the first Baker books I bought was the Crippen copy of that issue. It's currently on a looooong Florida vacation. Will be interesting to see what it grades at. Probably below 8.5, I think. Heritage graded the Crippen, fine. I tend to agree.

I saw that auction. Very strong price. I have a couple of copies and now I'm tempted to sell my under-copy, which is much nicer than this. It must be the spanking panel.

Can't remember if I've posted this before. Oh well.

Safe to say this may be the best copy.

As I look at energy stocks and the price of oil and look at Atlas horror and other comic prices, I see the inverse of each other. People laughed at my comic collection while chortling over the high price of oil in their portfolio.

I bought it slabbed from Bedrock in Chicago this summer. Just saw the CC result on the Seven Seas 4. It beat out the PL 23 in the same grade by over a grand. Would not have happened not that long ago.
