  1. My Mystic 18 from the New Brunswick collection.
  2. Here are examples from the New Brunswick collection: Although not a big title I love this cover. I posted this before, but it's worth a repeat.
  3. To us? The APC, of course! To most collectors, probably the Spidey 20. I could go online and buy any number of Spidey 20's in various condition at any time, as long as I had the money. With books like the APC and other Bakers you can wait months and years for a copy to show, money be damned.
  4. These all from the OO collection you picked up? Very nice! They are indeed from the OO collection. In fact, my entire Allas collection is from the New Brunswick Collection. I had the Mystery Tales 19 slabbed onsite at Wizard World Chicago Universal CGC 5.5. The books are just beautiful and I am thrilled to own them. As an owner of some of these Atlas books I can say they are lovely copies with great cover gloss and superior page quality. I'll post some myself when I get around to it.
  5. Nice Spiderman 20... Unfortunately, it's one of the few APC covers where Baker didn't include a dame .... A dame?!
  6. Yes, the TAR 31 was a good price. Got a raw 7.5 2 years ago for $80.00. Sometimes cons are still the best place to pick these things up.
  7. Here's another good price from the same auction. http://www.ebay.ca/itm/181531582289?ssPageName=STRK:MEDWX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1435.l2649
  8. Yes, I went after this and the 15 but dropped out after awhile. Both are a fraction better than the copies I have, and I wasn't going to pay a huge price for a nominal upgrade.
  9. Some strong results on some Bakers that ended on ebay tonight. 2 examples. http://www.ebay.com/itm/DIARY-SECRETS-15-Dec-1952-St-John-Matt-Baker-Cover-amp-Art-VG-/171466394887?ViewItem=&ssPageName=ADME%3AB%3AONA%3ACA%3A3160&item=171466394887&nma=true&si=rErllLkBq0kM87Y7iWWU34Qt1EI%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557 http://www.ebay.ca/itm/171466394887?_trksid=p11001.c100081.m2366&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20140625142807%26meid%3De1cc8fc8121448cdbbec74ebeed9f250%26pid%3D100081%26prg%3D20140625142807%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D8%26sd%3D181531583098&ssPageName=ADME:B:ONA:CA:1120
  10. Ah yes, I forgot about the mislabelled Sparkle copy. And cgc would rather skew the census than admit their labelling mistake.
  11. That always seemed like a tough one. I love the cover. The heart shaped thought balloons.
  12. Thanks for posting these. That Fight Against Crime story is almost as nasty as the cover.
  13. Richard seems firm on his prices. I should know. If there was movement, it wasn't much. Seems CL 25 still gets the goods.
  14. The 5.5 was a consignment. The owner may have taken it back. Rick Starr also had a PR 8 on consignment there.
  15. I saw a really nice 5.5 at Bedrock City's booth in Chicago. Wasn't cheap. Remember how not cheap? And, do you know if it sold? $1750.00. It had just arrived when I saw it, and I left shortly. Better looking than the 5.5 that sold on CLink a few months ago.
