  1. Man, he even dressed up as a criminal from a movie!
  2. Books were generally on the stands 2-3 months before their publication date.
  3. Imagine poor Matt now having to listen to him try and renegotiate every walkthrough fee now.
  4. Beyond giddy to get this white paged beauty from an excellent boardie brother. Comics don't get much better than this one. #makeatlasgreatagain
  5. He probably had a hand in Black Cat 50 also. The faces look a little Harvey humorish. Also, why is the guy in colorama in black & white?
  6. Another aspect of this is that many artists were pariahs in just about any industry for having been involved in those nasty horror comics that the government decided were so evil. So even if work was available, it wasn't offered to them.
  7. I agree. Avison has always been my best guess, but I do think there's room for some other possibilities. Looking at GCD it says possible Schomburg pencils and Avison inks. True answer... who knows. And while we're at it...
  8. The whims of a glue fiend are known only to him. But yeah, not uncommon.
  9. FYI, what you appear to be calling color touch is more likely glue.
  10. There are some Schomburgian elements to it, look at the gal's face being dangled. But I agree with you that if he did have a hand in it, it's by no means all him. Maybe layouts/pencils.
  11. Almost every copy of this issue has faded reds on the left. This is a really pretty one. Congrats!
  12. Wow, that's the nicest copy I've ever seen or heard of.
  13. Maybe it's because Golden Age is still available? I haven't opened my omnibus yet, but sounds like a lot of fluff.
  14. Love em. I'm in concordance with 2 or 3 of those. I enjoy hearing unconventional opinions. I wouldn't have guessed Hit 2.
  15. I agree it's not my favorite, but I'm curious what your top 5 would be?
  16. Cameras aren't expensive, but paying someone to scroll through hours of footage is.
