  1. Look at the logo though, there's some black in the "s" of confessions, as well as the overlap spots in "love". The black inside the guys hat is there, but not at the margin where it touches the red. The girl's hand where she's grasping his arm, the knuckle overlying the tablecloth has black, but none on the red. If you pull up another copy to compare, it's only where the red is that the black didn't take.
  2. There's no fading of any other color, and in the white area the black looks normal. It just didn't stick to the red. All the more charm. Congrats!
  3. What a strange printing error. I can't figure it out. The black just didn't stick over the red, but stuck everywhere else? Why would that happen?

  5. That's the kind of combination an insufficiently_thoughtful_person would have on their luggage.
  6. And the computer would make whirring and beeping noises with every keystroke or mouseclick.
  7. Welcome! How do you find these from Hungary? Do you have to order from the states, or do you find any locally?
  8. Those look great. How would you say the colors compare to the actual books in hand?
  9. 8.0 went for $2880 last September. 4000% inflation in 1 year is normal.
  10. This along with Zip 22 & Blue Ribbon 17 are about as good as symbolism and propaganda get in comics.
  11. Spidey sells the most web spinners, Batman sells the most Batman masks.
  12. Pep 20 made a big jump recently and Zip 22 is way tougher, so I was curious to see where this would end up. When was the last time one came up for sale?
  13. Very tough book, but I didn't realize how much demand there is for MLJs overall. When I put my Zip run together I don't think I paid more than $4-500 for any of them other than the 22. I wish I would have kept them!
  14. Ouch. Not an easy book to find either.
