  1. I think the Okajima story is great, but not 4000% markup great. Couple hundred bucks extra, sure.
  2. Yup. CBCS graded & in the HA archives.
  3. 4.5 is right what I would have expected it to grade, and probably what I would have called it myself.
  4. "Bidders can find deals here if you can navigate the maze of a website!"
  5. Peaceful. No reason to be a spoon when someone makes a mistake. $3700 is still under GPA. Just not the right price for me.
  6. The only possible justification for that grade is that most of what looks like creasing is actually just linear color loss from the printing process (seen that a few times). I'm not saying that it is or isn't, but that's the only way I can see them reasonably giving that book an 8.5. Otherwise... Regardless, it's not an attractive book for the grade.
  7. I thought I was laying the sarcasm on pretty thick, but evidently not.
  8. I'll take the Knight Rider annual (and I hate you for making me even know that exists) and the Invincible HC.
  9. 15 years ago? When he was already at least as much of an icon as they were if not more? Pretty bold!
  10. Totally. Plenty of multimillionaires who were unaware of Spider-Man until now.
  11. Seems to me like production defects should have a cap on the grade. 9.4, maybe 9.6 if it's just absolutely perfect otherwise. If you look at the way cards are graded this would be mid-grade.
  12. Also one is a squarebound, so no staple tears. That's kind of a different thing than detached from staples. The other is a single staple book, so maybe they consider detached from 1 staple less of a defect than detached from two?
  13. Interesting. The 9.2 copy is in a new holder, but was sold in 2016. It has neither a G code nor a Reilly stamp. Do you know if the 9.8 has a Reilly stamp on the back?
  14. This new generation of probies needs to get on the ball. There used to be so much drama in these threads, now they just finish with a whimper. Buncha losers.
