  1. I feel like this one is a candidate for slabbing, let me know what you all think as far as grade as is and, if you want, where it might end up after a clean and press. Thanks!
  2. Yeah I’ve had this copy for a long time and also the other markers (duotone vs flat gray/black Cerebus in the centerfold, coloring and haloing on the front cover shield/background warrior, etc, but I think this has helped me make my decision to have it graded for sale, thanks!
  3. Yup I know mine is authentic and have the photos to prove it but this has helped make my decision to grade #1 for sale
  4. I’m sure mine is authentic and have photos of all the relevant pieces to prove it but 100% agree about the value of grading #1 for a non-in-person sale. Thanks
  5. My only thought there was that I have the first 50 as the bi-weekly reprints they ran in the late 80s/early 90s and could break it up as 1-50 original issues and another more economical full run with 1-50 being the reprints. But we’ll see what interest is like. Thanks Jimbo, to you and everyone else for the advice!
  6. Hi, looking for a grade on this book before I list it, thank you!
  7. Hi, I’m ready to sell my full run of Cerebus and thought this might be the place. It’s all high grade (see photos). Before doing all the photos, etc, I had a few questions about the marketplace here: 1 - is this the kind of thing there would be interest for here? 2 - my thought when I was going to list it other places was to get any issues under 15 that aren’t slabbed slabbed. Does the group think that’s worthwhile or that the audience here might not care/prefer to slab them themselves? photo attached is 1-15 with 16-300 in the boxes. #1 is probably a 7.5 maybe higher with a press given some of the forgivingness I’ve seen with tics on these books. Thanks so much for your time and advice!l
  8. The federation of Bizarro insufficiently_thoughtful_persons is always a 10
  9. Oh man so check this out - I bought these from a seller in the UK, and asked if they combined shipping. They said yes and here’s what arrived in the mail. How could I be happier than with a uk seller who sends cash and sends dollars?
  10. Thanks for your time as always SC! I didn’t know that ppl have observed that trend but it’s good to know
  11. So here’s my question with this book. I have a light box that I could use to treat the interior covers. How much does the tanning on the inside aftect the grade/your impression of the grade?
  12. Hi, I think I scored on this copy of this issue of Rex that is an 8 on the Gerber scale! Looking for a grade from the community. Thanks, as always, for your insight!
