It’s spotty tanning. The larger areas are from the guy whose always looking for people who love to draw on the back cover. Thanks as always SC!
-
That's surprising since literally the only non-pressable defect I can find on this book is the tiny nib out of the top right front cover? Why a 7.0? Tanning? That seems a bit harsh lol. But pls let me know what you see if you have time

Hi all, Gonna send this beauty off to CGC as well as I prepare to sell some of my prized FFs. Looking for a grade, specifically - is that a chip or a piece out FC BR? Thanks as always!

Hi all, another book I’m actually submitting to CGC (I’m trying to be more responsible about asking now that I know about the contest. Let me know what you think!

THE GRADE IS IN! - PGM Hulk 181
Corvonie replied to Corvonie's topic in Hey buddy, can you spare a grade?
@scburdet - this one is ACTUALLY going to GGC this week and I haven’t gotten a chance to give you credit for your grades (except FF 44 should come back soon), in case you want to chime in. -

Thanks so much for the grade! I’m a little surprised by it so if you have a sec to let me know the defects you see that would be great -
Hi gonna submit this Hulk 181 imminently. Wondering what it would grade as is and with a clean and press. Note - that is an ink spot on the spine (in the gutter), not a hole Thanks so much!
-
I always assume ppl buy those pages to complete an incomplete copy. Esp with a book like action 1, restoration doesn’t seem to make much difference in the astronomic pricing.
-
Glad to say that that disappeared with some cotton rounds and standard dry cleaning. Thanks for the grade!
-
Looks like a really nice 7.5 to me! Great book, I’ve got one too!
-
Always hard to tell how they’ll view that on an otherwise sharp book.
-
So, the back cover is super clean and I feel like I’ve seen 8.0s that look like this but not many. I feel like 7.5 is more likely
-
Ah! Good call, I’ll remove that from the post.

Came across this cover I adore for cheap. Can’t wait to work on it, remove that dust shadow, and make it shine! -
