  1. Ok great! I’m a big fan of how ppl blank out prices here as well after its sold. Now, can you tell me how to edit a topic title to say SOLD or CLOSED And yes, I love it as well, but I think 8.0 is too nice a grade for me to own. I’ll downgrade to a 4.5 or 5 that I can read to my heart’s content at some point
  2. Freshly graded, first time graded, deep black cover, white pages. It's a beauty, but it's funding a recent purchase I'm super jazzed about. TERMS: People on the probation list are not eligible to purchase. Since this is CGC, all sales are final, but of course if the book doesn't arrive correctly, that's a different story. First in this thread or via PM wins the book based on time stamp. All prices are in USD. Priority shipping within the US is included. If you want to insure it, that's available up to $3000 insurance for $56, according to my research. We can insure it to your level of comfort. Book will be securely shipped in the same packaging/style as it came back from CGC. I would ship internationally but would have to calculate rates etc when we find out where I'm shipping. This is my 3rd sale here, so please ask about anything I may have left out! I may accept PayPal but may ask you to split the fees with me. I'll prefer personal checks (will likely need to clear as I'm new here), money order, or Zelle. Feel free to send me offers via PM PRICING & IMAGES Last sale was - and last 3 sales were - or over, so this book seems to be on the upswing (let's hope more comics follow). I'm listing at slightly below the 90 day GPA average with shipping (but not insurance) included. SOLD - shipped domestically (+ insurance) Thanks for looking! The above are the images from CGC. Here's the book in my hand
  3. THE GRADE IS IN and OH MAN! Looks like @Nilo2 was most confident in the 8.0. CGC obviously agreed the staple recession was from printing. On cloud nine with this grade!
  4. Grade is in - WOMP WOMP. But I am pretty sure I didn't have them press this one so could get a bump on re-submission. I guess @scburdet was closest, as long as we're not price-is-righting it https://www.cgccomics.com/certlookup/4356144001/
  5. GRADE IS IN. Congrats to @LDarkseid1 who got it on the nose. Over the moon with this grade https://www.cgccomics.com/certlookup/4356145001/
  6. Just had a Cerebus 1 graded and can attest to their not being forgiving on these black books right now
  7. There’s that teensy color breaking crease BRFC. I wonder how much of the rest is real defects vs dinginess that can be cleaned. I think it’s a 9 at least. Great copy of my 2nd favorite juggie cover! Extra grade bump for talking about “screwing heads on” in the context of a juggernaut book.
  8. I’m with my man @scburdet , and not just because he’s always right. It’s really really nice. The only thing I see is the slightest thing on the BLFC, and I think that might be pressable. Awesome copy of a great book!
  9. Love the color on that #21! Thanks for posting
  10. Goal achieved with the pickup of this awesome copy of Planet Comics #50. I didn’t have one of these covers in my collection. Now I do! The placement of the stamp is just perfect as well.
  11. I’m not gonna press this one myself and if I use comicpresser as planned, you’ll get raw shots after pressing as well as the results when it’s slabbed
  12. Not sure I can bite these off now, but early MLJ is on my must have list and these really are great books at a great price! That purple label is a sleeper. Small amount of dried glue on replaced staples? That’s the kind of purple label to gobble up! GLWTS!!
  13. I can say this - the restoration on mine was top notch and he gave me a refund no questions asked. I think by his standards he is doing square business. I just think his standards are antiquated and from a time when there wasn’t a giant professional service you could mail your books to to detect restoration. But he didn’t deny it was restored or try to not give me a refund etc
  14. I luckily noticed the color touch on mine and returned it. I left neutral feedback, not even negative. He tried to bribe me to change it and then had it buried/removed. I’m so sorry for what you went through.
