  1. Which states are taxed/not taxed. End up losing to not taxed bidders. Only times I win on heritage is when the book sells for 10 less than gpa. Not even playing field
  2. Now have to pay 10 percent extra. That doesnt suck?
  3. sucks for comiclink sellers/buyers because hammer prices will go down about 10 percent. went down that much on a couple books I was tracking.
  4. Yes to mycomicshop, I've bought graded books and also low grade raw books. Cheap shipping and packed well. Would recommend
  5. Conan 23 cgc 9.6 1st Red Sonja $449 shipped USA Canada add $15 for shipping 1st gets it
  6. there's a nice looking cap 1 at ha https://comics.ha.com/itm/golden-age-1938-1955-/captain-america-comics-1-timely-1941-cgc-fn-vf-70-cream-to-off-white-pages/a/7209-91066.s?ic4=GalleryView-Thumbnail-071515
  7. From this when can conclude that Spirou came out before Robbedoes or the cover was drawn with the word "Spirou" in mind
  8. How would I know who actually was the penciller? I now know Dave Gutierrez was the colorist. I suppose itcould Be a print thats colored

  11. also sig confirmation adds up especially if its for $12 books. as a seller I might just take the bullet and refund the customer, knowing that its the cost of business and also not worth it to have sig confirmation for such a low amount; applying the risk/reward angle
  12. It’s signed by herb but don’t know who actually painted it. I tried to do research on it but still don’t know who painted it. anyone help would be greatly appreciated.
  13. the key here is the "small amount". Usually if it's not a "small amount" I always require a signature confirmation. Of course anyone at the address can sign it but usually I've had less problems when signature requirement as part of the shipment
  14. Looks like both copies will be in the Comiclink featured auction in May. Of course at the moment neither book is part of the banner for their May auction. Ghost Rider 1 cgc 9.6 is a book that is part of the current banner. I know most people don't know about these 2 books but it's safe to say these Spirou are much more important than Ghost Rider in pop culture
  15. Wouldn't be surprised if the 2 9.6 will be offered to the market in the near future. our discussion here on the boards has brought more interest in my opinion. I was going to win a 1071/1072 Robbedoes with a snipe bid in the last 10 seconds but another ebayer beat to me it the 5 second mark. I was on my cell phone so couldn't snipe it correctly if I had been on a desktop. It would be interesting to see if someone like Heritage promoting the 2 9.6's 2-3 month preview, catalog. That 9.4 and 9.2 sales were for good money. Would be interested to see what happens in a public auction since most people still don't know about these 2 books. Like I said earlier on here, I know of a well known dealer on the boards that didn't know what they were. I have much respect for his knowledge but it just shows that a lot of usa dealers are still not aware of the book
  16. Cap 1 over the Bat 1; better eye appeal, not brittle, and still has to room to catch up to bat 1
  17. Excited that I was able to pickup a couple issues of Robbedoes 1071 and 1072 recently. It appears that there's 10 to 1 ratio of Spirou vs Robbedoes available for sale. That's my estimation of course based on a small sample size
