  1. Yep. I remember watching the snorks and thinking of the similarities between them and the smurfs. Nice Wikipedia page on them: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snorks
  2. recently purchased the 1st appearance of the snorks. will post a pic later tonight. they were similar to the smurfs and was on tv in the 80's
  3. Belgian version: Country name on front cover and points(which gets cut out; similar to marvel stamp on hulk 181) on the back cover
  4. Have some more raw(not in pics) that I will be sending in for grading. As you can see, the recent batch as the label noting that there's 2 versions, one French the other Belgian but it doesn't distinguish which one is within the slab(cover gives it away)
  5. That makes sense to me since the pool of buyers is greater at the “entry level”
  6. A bit odd not to post a pic of the back cover especially at the offered price
  7. Does this price per point business work? Looking at bat 1 gpa data it seems to show a pattern. I know it doesn’t work for silver age keys, for example af15. For golden age too many factors affecting price per point(Example page quality slightly tan) blue labels with glue notes.
  8. A 1.0 blue label went for $50k, a pic of the book with the new owner was posted at one point somewhere here on the boards. An 0.5 missing the 2 centerfolds went for $30k

  10. Obviously if I had the resources available, I would buy both. I see it as 1st Captain America vs 1st Joker.
  11. I'm a cap 1 guy, it just means that cap 1 has more room to grow compared bat 1. i'm biased since I prefer cap 1 over bat 1
  12. I have many wraps, in totality 2 married cap 1s (with covers of course)
  13. I've been in the marrying market and the price fell in place
  14. I would've bid on that it I had known about it. good price for the buyer

All American comics 16 9. Whiz comics #2 (#1) 10. marvel comics 1 (would rather have tec 31 or tec 38)
  17. Bat 1 CGC 1.0 unrestored brittle vs Bat 1 CGC 1.5 qualified ow centerfold married. I say the qualified copy is more desireable. Surprised the 2 books are in the same auction, similar bidders
  18. the AS8 cgc 1.5 ended at $16,800 on heritage. it's designated as brittle page quality but that's quite a pull-back when it was going for high 20k before the movie
