  1. I've bought from ebay and a huge online dealer from texas in 2019 and wasn't charge taxes
  2. I believe if it hits $40k, the CVA sticker doesn't hurt but I doubt it is the reason for the extra bump. It has a nicely wrapped spine, a premium vs other 9.8s that are missing this trait. One can see the book's eye appeal with or without the cva sticker pointing it out
  3. there's a couple of other bronze marvel books that is off your list
  4. pretty good collection that you have there if the conan's are the bottom end of your collection
  5. 4 different copies of 1071 from 3 different coutries on eBay in addition to comiclink auction.
  6. I’m a big spider man guy but I like cap 1 in golden age. Cap 1 over bat 1 for me. I see cap 1 with a lot of room upward, just like af15 before it’s spike a couple of years ago. Reason is that prices are still reasonable from entry to mid grade with lots of media attention now and moving forward
  7. With 9.8s going for $2,000-$2,500($3200 outlier on cl); getting a 9.6 at 1/4 of the price= good value
  8. Been following ASM 194 cgc 9.6 on heritage for the last 2 auctions. The 10 percent tax has me out of running for both auctions. Pretty big increment when a buyer can win at $510-$520 instead of $560-$570.
  9. A near perfect registration, nicely centered with a nice looking spine seems right to me at $38.4. The 30k and $29k copies were similar with the registration not as nice, spine cut not as nice, therefore we have a premium of $8k eye appeal since we are comparing 9.8s, who sold a 9.8 on oct 19 2018 for $39,000 according to gpa. Would be curious how the spine cut was for that one
  10. 1st 2 pages or 1st 2 wraps unrestored of Captain America comics 1
  11. the nice looking 0.5 that was missing both centerfolds sold for $30k on comclink a few months ago. I could see that copy sell for $50k if the 2 centerfolds were married
  12. 16 and 17 is the centerfold; 15 and 18 is the 2nd centerfold
  13. Bought a few books from Claudio. Shipping from I ltaly to the USA was fast. Package was packed well and secure. Got a freebie in the sales thread and couldn’t be happier
  14. I also have the comiclink 7.5 1071 and 8.0 1072 and raw 1072 coming to me that are not in the picture. regret missing out on the comicconnect 9.0 set during their august auction
  15. When did they start implementing the 3% fee. From my understanding, they only charge 3 percent if you use a credit card to pay for your winnings but they put a limit on how much you can you use your credit card. I don't use a credit card to pay for my winnings so I never pay the 3 percent.
