  1. 16/17 is centerfold. 15/18 is the other centerfold
  2. Hoping the best for you. Have always admired you since joining the boards
  3. Why accept the 10 percent? until cc,cl,hakes or auction houses adds taxes, bidders will move over there unless it's a "rare" item. all the item's I've won from them have always been 10 percent less than my max
  4. when bidding in California, unless it's a book I can't get elsewhere, I will reduce my bid by 10 percent(approximate California tax) and hope I get a deal
  5. Pretty good. Price is stable. 10 percent up/down at $110k is reasonable
  6. $62k last time, $52k this time. hope it doesn't belong to anyone on the boards here
  7. The Fantastic Four 1 cgc 6.5, 4.0 both are already at all time high. Be interesting to see where the FF 1 cgc 9.0 and 7.0 ends up at since both still have some room to go.
  8. that's the same cap 3 6.5 from the last cl auction, regraded.
  9. I think the hard end will give a higher price since if you really want a book you and another serious bidder are forced to pick a huge bid.
  10. there's FF1 pgx 9.2 signed already at $41k. Roll the dice? Or one can go over to CL and get the real deal at 7.0 or 6.5
  11. very true, list an asking price, get offers for it, and then sell it. or let it ride it an auction format.
  12. Very cool! Easily the only mega grail of the copper age
  13. Bought a pgx 9.2, they missed the restoration check. If I had scraped off the color touch it would become a cgc 7.0
  14. Cap 3 6.5 following similar bidding pattern as the last 6.5 on cl. Similar eye appeal too
  15. That was a nice clean wrap that you owned
  16. Yeah bought them for a good price. I was a nervous wreck removing the staples holding the pages together. The pages were brittle. I touched them once and off to cgc they went!
  17. There’s a thread over in golden age but those guys are only interested in the golden age books. Most of the big heavy hitters belong to silver age books.
  18. The page super man tossing the car fetched more than the origin page. Origin page was 2nd in value
  19. I use to own that page, won the super man pages of action 1 from heritage raw. Had each page graded. Even offered it here on the boards, not even an offer. Eventually sold all the pages, happy with the prices I got. But $20k would definitely be a world record price
  20. There’s a FF1 pgx 9.2 on CC. Of course the FF 1 cgc 9.0 is doing much better than the 9.0
