  1. That is debatable. There is no real official end of the bronze age that is accepted as absolute. Many people in the hobby believe different things when it comes to the start and end of the comic ages.
  2. Yup! 120 is still a glaring hole in my CGC 9.8 run. Tough to swallow that price.
  3. I have the color Marvel omnibuses, and am reading the first one now. Nothing real memorable yet through 20 or so issues. I'm trying to pretend I'm still 10 years old and just enjoy them for what they were: a cash grab targeted at child fans of the first film. I'm ok with the ride so far.
  4. 94-143 is my favorite bronze run. I have multiples of them all raw in various grades, and also collect the Byrne run in CGC 9.8. Took a break a few years ago and haven't added any new 9.8s since then. Prices seem to be trending way up on them. Must be Dark Phoenix movie interest/speculation?
  5. Avengers 93 is still super tough to find a high grade raw copy, and 9.4+ slabs are over $1K, but I agree that this isn't looked at as a bronze key in the general sense. Among Adams collectors, this book is still highly coveted though.
  6. Cool set of Deadman! Great entry level books for someone. GLWTS.
  7. Eerie 3 6.5 + freebie. I'll take them.
  8. I respectfully disagree. These are all better covers than Batman 227 IMO. uh-oh....sounds like a Adams cover vs. Cover Top 20 voting new thread needs to be created... let the voters decide... We already did a comprehensive Adams cover poll in 2011. Every vintage Adams cover was voted on from the 60s-70s. Here were the results with 1141 votes counted in the final round. Listed here are vote count and percentage of total votes for each book that made the finals. No surprise: Batman #227 ran away with the number 1 spot, followed by GL #76 and Bats #251 tied for distant second. I believe you can still vote though if you have not done so!
