  1. Does anyone following this understand any of it besides what was posted by Roy and Vince? I know I don't.
  2. It does not count if you do not have a 9.8 #222 or #227 in the mix. I wish.... Those books are not rearing their heads anywhere. But to give a little taste of what Adams books are on their way, not sure when they will be in my hands, 2 months at the most: Batman #219 CGC 9.6 Batman #222 CGC 9.4 Batman #225 CGC 9.6 Batman #243 CGC 9.4 Batman #245 CGC 9.6 At the rate you're picking up these great books you'll be #1 on the registry soon! Thinking Dover might have something to say about that. Gotta take me down before you can challenge Dover! What are your names in the Registry? I assume Dover = Bullet123?? No, Dover is Dover and click on the banner below to see my Adams books.

  4. It does not count if you do not have a 9.4+ #238 in the mix. fify. +1. Someday it will be mine.
  5. The seller lists these pages as from 1979. You'd think the seller of such an item would know when Bats #227 was published?
  6. There's been a CGC SS 9.4 BIN $2500 with no bites. Did you sell your 9.2?
  7. I'm waiting for his PM before i post BIN on eBay. I was waiting for your book to sell so I could list my 9.2 227. go ahead and list your book. (thumbs u

  9. There is only one way to beat your addiction. You have to liquidate all of your Adams books here on the boards.
  10. +1. Please stop. You're gonna make me buy something. What are you actually missing? You should have a nice hoard in place by now. Trying to keep pace with Dover is a never ending challenge of monumental size. He inspires me and makes me a little more crazy each day. Still working on Bats/Tecs now, but it gets more difficult with every one I cross off the list. I'm also getting pickier in my old age, which makes it more difficult to locate quality material at a fair price.
  11. I'm trying to fight my personal Adams addiction, but you guys are making it awfully tough by constantly posting kick *spoon* books.
  12. Ok, you guys have convinced me and I'm in selling mode anyway. My CGC 9.2 undercopy of Bats #227 will be offered soon for sale and one of you guys will take it home. Stay tuned.
  13. You and gman. Books will not be cheap and priced aggressively. Not GPA either, since i don't have a subby. Include me please. I have been known to buy and Adams slab now and then.
  14. If it bothers you that much I can help out I am sure I will part with it some day, but right now I am trying to compile a bit of an Adams hoard again. Sure costs a lot more now than the first one did between 1999 - 2002 or so. Good job Ryan! You sure have a knack for unearthing raw Adams gems. That's the only way these days to amass a graded Adams hoard without completely breaking the bank.
  15. Just my 2 cents, but I learned the lesson the hard way when I was building runs that the best books to buy first are the key/high demand issues as they tend to increase in value more than the common issues. (thumbs u This is true and I've not been resting on my laurels as I my recent purchase was a #181 9.4 (thumbs u My problem is I've been upgrading key issues, such as #232 9.4 > 9.8 as well. But if a certain #227 is still around in say 3 months I might just have one (thumbs u Congrats - nice copy of #181. (thumbs u I would stay away from any of the books in 9.8 for right now as any increase in supply will mean further drops in prices. A nice run in 9.4, or even non-top census 9.6, should be fine and hold its value a bit better. There are just too many potential 9.8 copies of these books in OO collections waiting to surface......... +1. As usual, Ryan is correct!
  16. Late to the idea sir. Better luck next time. I meant to say: I am not familiar with this artist. What's the big deal?
