  1. Ken is a first class boardie and seller. We had a small problem with some books I bought from him, and he fixed it right away. Nice raw grading and I will definitely buy from him again. (thumbs u
  2. Brad is a patient buyer who rolls with the punches. He bought some raw books from me and we had a typo with his mailing address. The books were returned to me from Canada and had to be sent again. They were shipped a second time and finally made it, but not before Canadian customs charged him an additional $40 in customs fees. Brad took it all in stride, was great with the communication and couldn't have been more understanding. A+ buyer and boardie!
  3. Thanks Teddie! He was a great guy to talk with and was super cool to do an original Wolvie head for me on the book. I only wish Neil would have been there
  4. Had this book a while, but the Herb Trimpe signature and sketch are brand new from last weekend's Mid-Ohio con!

Puchased a nice raw Adams Tec from Ed. Received promptly. Would recommend!
  6. I have both bought from and sold to Patrick. He offers nice high grade books at fair prices! Great boardie.
  7. Bob is a high grade slab machine. Have bought a bunch of sweet Adams slabs from Bob and he has always tolerated my pseudo-time payments.
  8. One of my favorite sellers on these boards. Helps me feed my high grade raw Adams habit regularly.
  9. Have both bought and sold from Tiger. He has great key books at nice prices. Everything with him has gone off without a hitch. (thumbs u
  10. Awesome book Doc. Now you have to finish the run in 9.4. (thumbs u Good luck with that. I can't seem to finish my raw run in VG or better. 9.4 is a tall order! Oh, and awesome book
  11. I have admired this title from afar since I was a kid browsing spinner racks in the 70s. Always loved the covers and the concept - dinosaurs vs. indians. What is a cooler combination than that? Reminds me of that Harryhausen movie Valley of Gwangi with the gypsies, cowboys and dinosaurs (was also a Dell movie comic). You guys are inspiring me to start a high grade run.
  12. Why, for once, can't someone come on and say 'gee, you know, I'm sorry, guys. I've used horrible judgement and I'll do what I can to right the situation.' +1 (thumbs u
  13. I guess Comiclink needs to be spanked/policed as well then since they only accept PayPal in the "personal" form. Get on that Joe, CGC
  14. Just wanted to share and have some proof on the record that I was the 1st owner of this single highest graded 9.8 copy that I just got back from CGC. This was originally a raw FeeBay purchase. Success stories like these are what wont let me completely close the door on FeeBay as a viable raw purchasing ground. Alas, the book has already been sold to a lucky collector I found on the Registry who will lovingly add it to their high grade Giant-Size collection:
  15. Awesome cover. Never seen that one. Wait, Yes I have: back when it was Ka-zar in the Savage Tales Mag! Anyway, still a cool late 80's update on a classic Adams genre.
  16. Awesome book. What were you asking raw? (thumbs u
  17. Some Sienkiewicz Moon Knight I posted in another thread, comparing the work to Adams: Adams Moon Knight?
  18. Nice collection! But no silver age as you specified. That WWBN #32 came out in '75 and is bronze age goodness. (thumbs u
  19. Well, where did it go and what did you replace it with? Adams goodness I hope Oh yeah, change your sig then...
  20. That a book you just bought or something? Sweet centering. (thumbs u
  21. I will rewatch... there were 2 PI , right? ,maybe I am thinking of the other one?. Rick Im talking about the one right before the bad roughing penalty. It was close, but the DB made an attempt to locate the ball and turned his head and shoulders to find it before it arrived. As long as I have been watching football (I played throughout high school and a little in college) to me what happened just isnt pass inteference, otherwise DB's would never be able to cover a WR. There was some hand fighting on both sides. That being said it wasnt the most egregious call and we both know how subjective PI calls are, it was just that call in conjunction with the next 2 that makes it seem worse then it is. If it occurred at a different point in the game nobody would be talking about it. Anybody got a Showcase 22 interior they can scan ?! Wow, great looking PQ on that book! Tan to Brittle thumb and fingers blocking some art work though
