  1. Why does 8.5 have a "+" next to the word "Mint" but 9.0 does not? Typically a "+" denotes a better grade, not a worse grade!
  2. The first comics I ever had as a kid was a 3-pack of GI Joe #21-23 I got from my mom as a birthday gift from Toys R Us. When we got home I asked her if I could get a subscription and she actually agreed! Since #24 was already out, the first comic I got was #25. Congrats on getting it. I hated seeing it pass me by but it sounds like you'll really love it too!
  3. I never thought to rank them, but to me the cover is dynamic and action packed, which is what I want in a GIJoe cover (and most covers for that matter). Also, GI Joe covers rarely hit the market. Considering how popular GIJoe was back in the 80's, those kids are now in their 40's. You love to talk about nostalgia driven pricing so this should be a no brainer. High demand, low supply! Plus Zeck has quite a following which adds to the demand.
  4. I bid a lot on it but lost. That was the one I really wanted as it was one of the first comics I had as a kid. So sad to see it pass me by.
  5. $36k for a Ditko ASM page with no SM... but with cool Doc Ock panels seems about right to me.
  6. There are a lot of cool, inexpensive Hitler covers in this auction. Many are Highest Graded to top 3 highest!
  7. Also, did anyone notice that the title actually changes from "Sub-Mariner Comics" to "Sub-Mariner" starting with issue #33 Atlas issue?
  8. X-Men: Blue #3 cover by Arthur "Art" Adams... from the story titled: "You don't trust me!" This awesome battle cover features Marvel Girl [Jean Grey], Iceman [Robert Drake], Angel [Warren Worthington III], Beast [Hank McCoy], and Cyclops [Scott Summers] all battling the giant Sentinels! HUGE 18" X 24" cover!
  9. I paid very little for this sexy MJ page from Web of Spider-Man #67.
  10. Matt Fox's career ended in 1963, so I guess he makes the cut-off. He is relatively unknown but did a lot of prehero monster stories for Marvel. His style is very reminiscent of Basil Wolverton.
  11. Also found this... https://www.comicartfans.com/ForSaleDetails.asp?ArtId=3457549
  12. I don't have any, but try Matt Murdock. Also, I found this on CAF with a young Bruce Wayne debating his college law professor. https://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryPiece.asp?Piece=1608314
  13. I hope CGC does what the other grading company did last week and put the welfare of their employees first. There is nothing "essential" in life about comics!
  14. With the Hulk #180 page selling for $657k, this is on par IMO. It's a better piece of art by a better artist, yet just about as historically important.
