Perhaps the CL 9.0 was resubbed. One out of many possible explanations? The Comic Link copy looks like it was re-subbed if you look at the CGC gallery. Does that mean the Detective27kid copy has not be graded yet by the buyer?

Hi Everyone, On the new CGC census regarding Showcase 22. There is now only two 9.0 copies instead of three. I will give the club a tally of the new additions and update. showcase22gr1959

I don't have that one but I could use a cover for Action 27, 29, 31, 32, 41, 53, 66 and 68 And maybe a centerfold for Action 40. Too bad I don't have that, but I do have a Action 60 double cover which I may consider to sell the outer cover. Good luck.

Thats a nice copy, somebody got lucky and scored with that one...maybe not enough people saw it. I dont know, but that's a pretty good price and doesn't seem to be quite in line with other recent sales considering the pq. Yes, that was a bargain. I'm sure that person is very happy.

So does this mean prices are still climbing? Or have they stayed somewhat the same over the last month or two? Prices are definitely holding up very well. Finding a 3.0 for less than $1000 is a thing of the past. Prices are still climbing steadily. There is an insatiable demand for this book. SC22 is like an AF15 for DC. My highest graded SC22 copy is a CGC 8.5. It has been presented in this club before.

This always makes me think when I see these auctions, if your book is worth some good coin, why not get it CGC`ed? this would make buyers feel a whole lot more comfortable, they would probally get more bids.I see all these auctions, lots of nice looking books but there is no way I am spending big coin on a rare key unless it`s slabbed. Good choice. Sometimes it looks too good to be true and we know how hard it is to score a SC22 in 6.0 or better.

It's amazing how he get's away with this. I feel sorry for most of his buyers. He's probably looking for other comic candidates to deceive more buyers for his gains. He got caught this time!

This is the same slight restored 5.0 which was offered in the forum last two months ago, and about a month ago on Ebay. Not a 6.5!!

If you have more than one copy and if you feel the price is high already...then sell one copy and hold onto the other one. Nothing wrong for taking profits...which some of the boardies have done already.
