  1. Those are a lot of xforce 2's. No UPC X-forces 2 I frowned on them back then. I think I have some UPC X-forces 2 in my collection somewhere. I use to buy my books at the grocery story so it was rare for me to the the spidey-head logo or whatever back then. It made those types of copies a little more special to me. At least you were able to locate books. I'm sure a lot of the books had spine damages due to it being placed on the spinner racks and mishandled by people reading them. Since they were returnable, the newsstand market sellers didn't care. It was definitely a good source to buy the hot issues a few weeks later which sold out at the direct market. I remember heading to five different 7 Eleven buying up the Amazing Spiderman 361's for $1.25, and while the seconding market was commanding $7-$10. Time has changed...some folks detest those UPC's codes back then and now completeness wants both.

  3. Here is my what's left stash. Majority of the X-force 2's should grade 9.8. Wish I didn't sell my other three NM 98 9.8s earlier this year.
  4. Thanks. The signature is a sample of cool books I have like others. Showcase22, your sig line inspires me to spend more money on better comic books. -J. In time, my collection will dwarf yours by the pace you are going.

  7. Great group shot and a great snatch on the 4.0!
  8. This is definitely a new copy Rob Also, if you check GPA on the 9.2 which supposedly sold for 120K was sold on the last Comiclink auction for 100K . (thumbs u
  9. Owners are gettin' out while the gettin's good. I really think this is a tough call. Unless a few more 9.2 pops-up, I think these prices may sustain. I think you still got that that nice Adventure.
  10. 9.2's selling three times in less than a year doesn't help in the short term.
  11. The prices really jumps in 7.0 and a larger jump in 8.0+. A decent 6.0 or 6.5 would not break the bank.
  12. ASM 1? Definitely too, but I see more copies of AF15's with more chips and more amount of it.
  13. Solid prices for those copies and a lot of data to support those prices. Copies with no chipping, nice PQ, and presents well...definitely commands a premium++. So many copies has chipping of some sort and probably the most chipped early SA Marvel.
  14. Last 9.2 sold on Comiclink for 100K, so 120K again on CL for this copy is strong price.
  15. I understand this is a file copy, but did Bob Kane owned a few Batman 1's. Is it that unique to command that kind of premium?
  16. no Now, get us the highest privately sold record price. that's upto the buyer to reveal if he so determines Wow, over 66K is a strong price...must be a real nice copy. You are da-man! The best 7.5 is owned by Rich. My avatar is that book's splash page. And congrats to the new owner of the 66k 7.5....whomever they are. It's a honor to be able to acquire. I love your Avatar, for the man who loves comics. Brannon you had the pleasure to flip to them pages. I just looked at it a month ago, and tempted to crack it open I can only wonder if the pages are as fresh as my SC22. Since you seen many AF15's raws, this copy must obviously stands out to you. Same here too...congrats to the new 7.5 owner and maybe it's a boardie.

  19. Looking at your sig line, I'm sure you are over the moon! I believe you have a nice 7.5 too. Just happy to own them and especially when they are less pricey. KEYS are just on fire lately.
  20. I believe so. The last publicly sold 7.5 sold on Comiclink for $62500
  21. You are a fortunate person indeed! Indeed! That is an awesome Billy Book!
  22. I like seeing it every time Thanks Bill. You should be the chairman of this club. Every time I see a Bat 1, I think of you. You too Primetime, second to Bill.
