  1. I still remember selling a coverless to someone in the CBG wanted ads for $200 in 1990. That was a lot for it then.
  2. Thanks for the info. That's a great looking book, congrats. That 0.5 copy is great for the grade as well. -J. That's on hella of a 6.5. Yup that's a nice .5. Just having any AF15 is cool.
  3. congrats Why would anyone want 2 AF 15s? Beats me. King of the SA. Why not...I have two. I believe it was a joke. Peewee22 probably has at least 2 copies. Yes. Peewee22 owned many AF15's. Just happy to have two.

  5. I think it's this one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Factory-DC-Comics-GREEN-LANTERN-SHOWCASE-22-Premium-Motion-Statue-LIMITED-1135-/151810241215?hash=item23589872bf:g:Y3cAAOSwQTVV8KQq
  6. Yes it did. $28950 to be exact. Your copies of SC22, BB28 and SC4 make my copies sad. If you have a trifecta! That's all that matters. Yes your sig line is killing it. -J. J, you have a trifecta too and a bunch more.

  8. Yours is more++ Wow...just incredible. A 6.0 is almost in par to AF15 now. I think the great show is doing a lot for this book. -J. I agree the show's popularity, and being a scarce DC SA key doesn't help either.
  9. It was a very nice 6.0... more than make up for the crm/ow pages.
  10. Yours is more++ Wow...just incredible. A 6.0 is almost in par to AF15 now. Indeed. wish I could have bought a few more copies when they were cheap Of course wish I kept my few under copies the last few years.

  12. from a 4 to a 6. That's some black magic right there. Spine splits be gone! 6.0 grade is a bit too generous for that book.
  13. Looks like you have two... Thanks for the support! Those are my precious. Keep an eye out for you.
  14. I agree seems low for what AF15 has done lately. Keep in mind CGC has been quite strict with there grading policy. It can be quite risky for a regrade. I agree, I think the book could've sold for more. Being an old label definitely. Might get a 9.2 after a press, but not guaranteed. If buyer does get it CPR, the least it would come back as would be the same grade. I don't think it can go any lower. So worth the risk because of the under price paid? if the book grades a 9.2, probably looking at around $300k+ Roll em' dice. Maybe a 25% down grade 25% upgrade...50% same. Maybe we will find out sooner or later. Since the buyer has bought at a reasonable price, leave it be. A book at this magnitude....CGC will scrutinize every aspect of it.

  16. Cool! I bet your old 8.5 is worth 125 to 150k easily. If I were to sell my 8.0, I'd put exactly 100k on it. Definitely!
  17. There is only a few 8.0 with off-white and all 8.5's with cream/white. Showcase 22 in cream/off white is the norm. You high standards will cut you out in 8.0's copies. You tracked them? I wish they had a way to sort PQ on the census. I was waiting for an 8.5 ow or better. Now I know why I never have seen one. Yup, been tracking em' for years and I have seen many copies raw and from scans here and there.
  18. Thank you! Only 2 books left to find, and a few raws to get graded to finish it up. You're welcome and that's one hecka of achievement.
