  1. Congrats! Is this the same copy on CL last year or a new one? no, this copy has been in private collections the past 6-7 years at least. A lot of 3.5s coming to market lately have looked similar Thanks, wow that's like five copies in the 3-3.5 range in the last 12 months. Lots of volume and support for the book.

  4. Great copy! I recall Comiclink auctioned a 9.2 in 2011. Good luck.
  5. Congrats! Awesome copy! True that...I think there are three sixes in the club.
  6. I think this is the lowly copy of this club.
  7. Me too. Love the kid dashing with his dime wanting "Superman". Is this a late 1930's early 40's memorabilia? I'd say pre action 20 maybe as the triangular S on supe suggests pre 1940. Perhaps after issue 19 when he was on the cover every issue. That would makes sense. I see the slick, that Superman sales demand front display for Action Comics. I guess this could mean he should be in front of a display rack before the other titles or just starting on the cover of Action 19 as you mentioned.

  9. x2 Thanks batman_fan. I recall reading an article in Overstreet quarterly where Bill had an article about Superman 1 versus Batman 1. I'll try to dig that up somewhere in my pile.
  10. Showcase, Another incredible acquisition to add to your already incredible collection! This is a diamond in the rough copy. So what if it has a married cover, its all original, presents well, and the PQ as you said is extremely nice. Superb pick up my friend! I am jealous! Thanks Bat-man. You have a great Bat collection yourself. This copy is going to stay here with the other Bat book.
  11. That is one awesome group shot. I think Mike sold some nice 14+ lately and I missed out on a few.
  12. Thank you so much guys! Batman 1 has risen so much lately, I was very happy to win this lowly copy. With the back cover present and an OW PQ, I just had to win it.
  13. It's all good brother.Welcome to the boards. +1 ANY Avengers 1 is an AWESOME Avengers 1 +2
  14. Finally happened. I always wanted a Batman 1 since I was a kid.
  15. Damn, Bruno pumping out nice asm always! So mad I missed your ASM 12, sitting on storms site jacked up in price. Another nice batch of nice Spideys!
  16. I sold a 7.0 on eBay at auction for over $6K just recently. Well done on the 7.0 eBay sale. The HA 7.0 had nice PQ, but thank goodness for the back scans...some bidders may have taken it a bit higher.
  17. I paid a tad bit more for a 4.5 OW/W than that,oh well as long as I have one. (thumbs u Being a long time holder just like you oakman. To all the long time holders.
  18. The writing on the back cover on the 7.0 was the culprit.
