  1. Marvel Spotlight 6 cgc 9.0 GPA 99.00 Listed at 85.00 on website plus $12.00 shipping within the U.S and or $40.00 to Canada. Combined shipping is available at a discounted rate.
  2. Hello everyone. Ghost Rider 1 cgc 8.0 white pages, well centered. (this book looks like a candidate for pressing for sure). I won't crack it out but the bottom right corner has a bend that doesn't break color and the back cover has a few as well. I think with a press, this is a fairly nice upgrade IMO. GPA is 339.00 Listed at 310.00 plus $12.00 shipping within the U.S and or $40.00 to Canada. Combined shipping is available at a discounted rate.
  3. Only a Sith deals in absolutes. Like many on the forums I'm sure, I have this love for a certain car, so I just sold some really nice books to fund my dream machine. After I did it, I had to convince myself that I did the right thing for the sake of enjoying life. Once the books were gone and the purchase was made, I was happy but I really do miss the books.
  4. Sold a few big books at auction and did better than expected. They will be missed but I had to support another hobby with them. I was looking for a nice looking copy and pulled the trigger on this one.
  5. Hello everyone Up for offer, is the Northland Pedigree copy Strange Tales # 110 CGC 9.4. This is a really nice copy. It's well centered, has near perfect off white to white pages and no date stamps or writing on either cover. The colors are really nice and while the book could benefit from a press to further flatten it, It could be argued that this is one of the best copies available. If you have any questions, let me know and I'll be happy to answer them. The "" wins over any discussions through PM. Check preferred, Paypal accepted. 55k
  6. I grabbed these two. At the prices some of these books went for..(yeah.. I'm looking at YOU showcase 22, Magnus 1 Solar 5 and FF 52 9.6) I'm surprised I won these at the auction prices they went for.
  7. You can't lose either way since both are such incredibly significant books. Hulk 1 gets my vote though.
  8. Is it? Then I owe you thanks for selling it Roy.
  9. After years of looking for a copy I was happy with, I finally picked one up. Grabbed it recently.
  10. Bought this today to accompany my Eternals 1 price variant.

  13. I don't read as much as I used to but I really loved the New 52 Aquaman run a while back. I remember years back, they started with all sorts of different covers such as die cut covers, holograms, foil covers.. and those in general, seem to have been replaced by all these variants. It will be interesting to see where this all lands years from now. There have been some really cool books to surface from the copper/modern era though. The fact that modern print runs are much lower right now than what they were years ago will help fuel the back issue market years from now. Hopefully, we'll see these agendas dropped in place of good story telling.
  14. IMO, there's no simple answer. There are many collectors out there that hold a higher personal value to books without sigs and there are others that think the opposite. Placement of the sig is important as well. I've seen many books that have less than favorable sig placements and it seems to ruin the appeal of the book. I've also seen very well placed sigs that look great and seem to add a certain visual appeal. Personally, I've never been one to crack open my books and have them signed but I've purchased many slabbed, signed books that I liked quite a bit. Again, this is all based on my opinion for my collecting preferences. While sigs clearly add value to some sales, I believe that misplaced sigs or sigs like black sigs on black backgrounds for example..at times, can decrease the value of a book and make them harder to sell. As a collector though... in the end, it should come down to what you like personally. If I happen to like my books free of any writing or sigs or if I happen to have every single one signed and it increases/decreases their value, it shouldn't matter. If its for the pure sake of collecting, then I say.. get what makes you happy. In the end, I think well placed sigs, rare sigs and multiple sig books (for the completionists out there), will always find a home even if it takes a bit more time. I also believe that there will always be those purists who prefer their books unscathed from the marks of others. Buy what you like and just have fun with it!
  15. and with the last public 9.8 sale at 48,500.00 in Oct 2016, it's evident his fans are out there. Now.. if we could only get him back on screen in a big way...
  16. I absolutely love Ghost Rider. I'm glad that they didn't just shoot a reboot of the movies right after the rights were returned to Marvel though. Needed some time to "air that out" since the movies were such a travesty. I have faith that if Marvel picks the appropriate actor to become the Ghost Rider, he could finally get the attention he deserves. It's quite possible that he may best be served as a supporting character on a team or perhaps an integral part of the Midnight sons?
