You are both correct. I was referring to a previous hulk sale at that price but yes, I just saw the recent sale of 90k.

Glad I got my IH # 1 when I did. Everyone thought it was a strong price back in December at 42k (and sure.. it was a bit..) but now.. with 7.5 going for 55k and 8.0 going for 70k, I'm perfectly fine I got in when I did. White pages too.

The SC 55 appears more purple than blue I think.

I prefer off white to white or white pages as well and I don't mind paying a bit more for them. The price difference and overall structure of the book is also taken into account but assuming that both books are structurally sound and one has off white while the other has white, I'd more than likely opt to pay a bit more for the white label.

A 9.6 sold on Pedigree for 5,300.00. I wonder who bought it?

Agreed. The story was a bit on the crazy end all the way around. On the plus side, I can finally cross this book off my want list, the details are all straightened out and its not as strong a price as everyone thought it was originally. I'd still chalk it up as a great experience.

This is actually the first time I've posted it anywhere and I haven't shown Joe or Ivan but that's not a bad idea. I'll have to look online and see if there's a direct point of contact anywhere for them rather than going through the studio that handles their work. Almost all of my OA is from that team. Then again, I only have 9 pieces in total. Of course, you're welcome to show him too.

Thanks I'm happy with the way it came out. I'm going to have them add calligraphy on the bottom, stating the book volume, book number and pages 1,2,3,4,5 with Art by Ivan Reis and Inks by Joe Prado on the bottom I think. Then again, maybe I'll just leave it alone. I'm not sure which way I want to go yet.

I know it's going to come up so I'll say this. The price paid for my Hulk 1 has been corrected. I'm not sure how it came to be.. but it is now listed at the price point that I was originally made aware of. No big deal but I know quite a few members had asked why such a strong price. It now sits at 42, 222.00 rather than the 47,222.00 it was posted at.
